Old Friends {Sting x Reader AU}

The week was fairly quick, and was already the weekend. Almost everyone was busy, including Sting. Yukino made sure she kept him busy, she was afraid that the two of you would hang out without her. And it was a legitimate fear, but it had already happened. Sting reluctantly took Yukino out, who didn't really want to do anything beside ensure that he wasn't with you.

As for you, you took the chance to just relax and unwind from the school week. You slept in, and did some personal self-care things that made you feel better and energized. You even FaceTimed one of your friends from your old school.

"Are you sure you don't want to come to the party?" She asked you. "I can come pick you up, but you'd have to tell me now so we can make it in time. And then you could sleepover!"

"As amazing as that sounds, I am not up for a party." You laughed. "My social battery is beyond dead."

"No, I understand." She laughed a bit. "Have you made any new friends?"

"Yeah, a whole bunch actually."

"Oh? Do tell! Is that pretty blonde boy one of them?"

"The pretty blonde boy has been my friend since preschool." You laughed. "He doesn't count as new."

"Well, does blonde boy have a girlfriend? Cuz if not, send him my number!"

"And what about your boyfriend?" You asked her.

"Well..."

The both of you started laughing as you talked about the events from school, but you basically just ended up ranting about Yukino, and talking about Gray. You explained how after Yukino had given you a hard time, Gray took you out in an attempt to make you feel better.

"Wow, he seems like a good friend already... maybe even more than a friend." She wiggled her eyebrows at you.

"Shut up, I'm with Fujin, remember?"

"Yes, yes, obviously, but he isn't good to you at all! Must I remind you what happened when I left you guys alone? He got mad over one little thing and-"

"Yes, I remember." You sighed. "And I rather not relive it."

"Sorry." She muttered. "But seriously, you can do so much better. And if blonde boy is having problems with his girlfriend, than shit, snatch him up, girl!"

You again laughed, and then talked about nonsense and, and drama that was happening at your old school. But as you were talking to her, you received a text from Sting, simply reading: 'help me'. It made you laugh a bit, and you would go to the conversation, making you pause the FaceTime.

"Oh? Who are ya texting?" Your friend asked. "Pretty blonde?"

"Yes, pretty blonde." You laughed, while texting him what was wrong. He would respond right back, complaining about Yukino.

"What's he saying?"

"Talking about his girlfriend. I don't think they'll last much longer."

"Good! Get him, girl!"

"I'm dating Fujin! I'm not cheating on him."

"Girl, he's trash, everyone knows it."

"But... I really like him." You shrugged, unpausing the FaceTime.
