Sting sat on one side, and Gray the other. Gray's cheek was definitely a bit puffy, and Sting had a small cut on his cheek.
Long story short, Sting was fed up with Gray and swung at him, but Gray wasn't one to just take it, so he fought back. By the time teachers had interfered, they had already gotten a few good hits in, but nothing too dramatic or disgusting.
After a while of the boys sitting there, Weisslogia had rushed in. "Sting?!"
Sting heard him but didn't acknowledge him. "You're Sting's father? Please, have a seat." The principal motioned to a seat next to Sting. "We're just waiting for Mr. Fullbuster."
Weisslogia took a seat next to Sting, glaring at him. "What did you do?" He said lowly through his teeth. Again, Sting didn't answer him. "What has gotten into you?"
Soon after, Silver, Gray's father had entered the room. Sting made sure to watch carefully as he made his way into the room, and couldn't help but notice how similar they looked. Same hair, same face, and the same icy stare. The principal motioned him to take a seat as well next to Gray.
"Thank you for coming in, I'm sure you have busy schedules." The principal bowed their head.
"What is this about?" Gray's father's voice was deep and not what most people would expect when looking at him.
"Yes, I'm getting to that. I wasn't a witness, but I've had my staff come into my office with the boys saying that had gotten into a fist fight. When I asked them what about, they remained silent."
"Sting, are you kidding me?" Weisslogia glared at Sting. This time, Sting looked up at Weisslogia, but said nothing.
"You know better, Gray." Silver rolled his eyes.
"I'm still unsure who threw the first punch." The principal said. "And whoever admits that they did it will lower their suspension sentence."
"Wait, suspension?" Weisslogia widened his eyes.
"Yes Mr. Eucliffe. We have a no tolerance policy for these sorts of things."
"Woah woah woah, hold on just a moment." Silver lifted up his finger. "Whoever started the fight should be the only one suspended. The other was obviously just defending himself."
"Sir, I understand where you're coming from, but because both parties are involved, both parties must be suspended. Even though someone had thrown the first punch, someone did fight back." The principal explained.
"So what? You just want a kid to just take it? Hell no! I didn't raise my kid like that!" Weisslogia shouted. Silver looked at Weisslogia and then back at the principal and nodded.
"I understand the frustration, but it's our policy at the school."
"Fine."
"Now, let's talk more about the suspension. The minimum is a week, assuming that you boys don't hand over the information we need." The principal stated. "If you boys cooperate, I'll lower it to three days, or a week of after school detention. If you don't, it's a week suspension and will be shown on your permanent academic record. Also meaning, you won't be able to play sport for the school." This definitely caught the attention of both boys.
"What!?" They both shouted in unison, now paying full attention to what was happening.
"School policy." The principal shrugged. "Will you boys cooperate?"
The two boys looked at each other with pure hatred in their eyes for the other.
"Sting, think about your future. Colleges look at this stuff. And not being able to play basketball? Come on Sting, don't be dumb. Put your ego and pride aside, just this once." Weisslogia pleaded with him.
