After school had gotten out, Rogue had walked to Sting's house. He had heard about the fight, and when he didn't see Sting all day he figured that he had been sent home. So he decided to stop by and get the story from none other than the source itself, but to also let him in on a few things.

Weisslogia had let Rogue in, figuring that Sting needed someone to rant to. Rogue had made his way up to Sting's room, and saw him laying on his bed, just staring up at the ceiling. "Hey man." Rogue said before entering the room.

"Hey." Sting said back.

"So tell me about the fight." Rogue chuckled a bit, and sat down on the bed. Sting sighed and sat up.

"Gray was just being an ass, saying how I didn't care about Y/n or the situation."

"Ah." Rogue nodded.

"But how can he say that? I've literally made sure people didn't talk about about her for a while, until Yukino started it back up."

"Sting, sometimes things are beyond your control, and someone else needs to take care of it."

"But I'm the only one that can protect her."

"Why do you think that?"

"I... because I did when we were younger, and no one dared to mess with me."

"Sting." Rogue facepalmed, letting out a sigh. "We were what? Five? Six, seven?"

"Doesn't matter." Sting huffed.

"Either way, this is beyond something that you can handle. That anyone can handle. So I told the school."

"You're the one that told the school?" Sting asked. Rogue nodded, and then took a deep breath.

"We're in high school. This shit is unhealthy, you know that."

"Yukino is just wanting to cause drama." Sting gritted his teeth. "I just want to defend Y/n."

"I know, a lot of people do. You, me, Minerva... hell, probably Lucy, Gray, Erza, Natsu... but you can't do it alone, Sting. You're only one person."

"I just don't want it to be Gray."

"I understand, but you really think fighting Gray will go down well? How do you think Y/n will react? You know that they're friends." Sting bit his lip. Did he really mess things up this time? "He probably already told her all about it."

"Oh no." Sting brought his hands up to his face, and kept them there as he thought for a moment. What was he going to do?

"You think that's bad? Wait til I tell you this." Rogue sighed, his tone of voice seeming to be lowered. "Yukino is telling everyone that the fight was because you found out that Y/n was cheating on you with Gray."

"What?! That's ridiculous!"

"Isn't it? I thought so too. But everyone's believing it. Because of how close her and Gray have gotten."

"This went from bad to worse."

"I know what you mean. I tried my best to tell the truth, but right now Yukino holds too much power." Rogue sighed. "I can't imagine what this is like on Y/n."

"I don't even want to think about it."

"I was thinking about stopping by, since I was right here, you know, to check up on her. You wanna come?" Rogue stood up, and Sting sighed, also standing up.

"Yeah, I need to talk to her."

Rogue nodded, and made it out of his room. They both walked down the stairs, and walked by Weisslogia who was in the kitchen. "Sting, where do you think you're going?" He asked.
