Friday came and went, until finally your mother had arrive home. The second she did you ran into her arms and started squalling. She dropped everything at the door and hugged you back, listening to what had happened while she was gone for the week. You told her everything, except for the fact that you and Sting did... it. But you told her how there was a picture of Sting and Yukino, Stung accused you of cheating, and overall just the mess of the situation. Your mother was not happy with the news, but spent the night comforting you instead of taking matters into her hands. But she knew if she did, nothing would get solved, so she decided to stay out of it and to just lend an ear when you needed it. But she would probably talk to Weisslogia at some point.

It was Monday and your first day back at school. You decided to do what Minerva told you to, you had nothing left to lose. You'd go in with your head held high, your face reading nothing but 'resting bitch face'.

Minerva had gotten you that morning and taken you to school, deciding to get some iced coffee to start the day off strong. You both walked in laughing and smiling as people turned their heads to look at you. Everyone was confused as to how happy you were after a break up. The Yukino fans were angry that you didn't look at all upset, while your fans were happy that you looked well, but also confused why you didn't look sad.

"Have a good day, okay?" Minerva said, taking your hand. "Rogue, Rufus, Orga and I aren't sitting with Sting for the time being, your welcome to sit with us."

"Thank you, but I think I'll sit with Gray, Lucy and all of them today. I'll sit with you guys tomorrow though for sure!"

"Alright, sounds good. I'm glad your feeling better."

"Thanks, Minnie!" You smiled. With that she blew you a kiss (as friends of course) and waved at you before going to find her friends. You watched her leave, feeling somewhat content. You decided to take her advice; have the power in your court.

You heard giggling from behind you. It was familiar to you; Yukino. You didn't even want to look, you just walked passed her, and probably Sting, you didn't know if he was there or not, you didn't look. You kept your eyes forward, not daring to catch a glimpse.

Yukino was in front of Sting giggling at nothing. He was confused as to why she was, but saw you not too far away. He looked over her head to stare at you, but you didn't even give them the time of day. Were you that pissed off?

Not too far away from Yukino and Sting were Natsu's group. Lucy had her back towards you and you decided to give her a small hug from behind. She jumped at first, but when she saw you she hugged you tightly. "Y/n! You're back!"

"I missed you, Lucy!" You smiled, hugging her back. She would then pull away and place her hands on your shoulders, a big smile on her face.

"I'm so glad to see you!"

"Welcome back!" Natsu gave a toothy grin.

"Will you be joining us from now on?" Wendy asked hopefully. Erza stood next to her wearing a smile, along with Gray who couldn't take his eyes off of you. He was glad to see you thriving.

"Today I will. Tomorrow I'm going to sit with Minerva." You told them.

"I'm glad you're better, Y/n." Gray said softly. You could have sworn that you saw a tint of pink on his cheeks. You smiled back at him and nodded, but felt bad. You didn't really feel the same way he did, and you didn't want to lead him on. Getting with him just to get back at Sting would be... evil. You weren't going to do that. "You look great."

"Th-Thanks." You stuttered, and then looked away from him. You werent expecting that compliment, therefore a blush rose to your cheeks. Gray smiled, happy that he got a little reaction from you. Meanwhile, Sting was watching and he couldn't help but feel his blood boil.

"So Y/n, I was wondering if you wanted to get food with me after school today." Gray smiled.

"Huh? Oh uh..." You looked down at your feet. You didn't want to be rude, but also wanted to make it clear that you weren't into him like that. "Maybe another time. My mom just got back from a business trip, I want to spend some time with her."

"Oh yeah, I get it!"

Sting smirked a bit at how you rejected him.

"Y/n, since you're single now, maybe I can set you up with someone!" Natsu offered.

"Huh!?" You and Gray looked at him shocked.

"Cmon man, she just got out of a relationship!" Gray defended you.

"Says you, Gray." Lucy said under her breath, but you could definitely hear it.

"I have someone who would be great for you! Or I can give you a few names that you might know." Natsu laughed a bit.

"I guess it won't hurt to hear some names." You sighed.

"Great! First is Laxus."

"Are you insane!?" Erza yelled at him.

"Whose Laxus?"

"He stayed back a year I think, he was a senior when we were freshman."

"Oh, so he's older?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yup! He's... what? Twenty three?" Nastu looked up as if he was thinking.

"Oh- yeah no I don't think so-" you laughed nervously.

"Okay well then, there's this guy named Loki, Lyon-"

"Hell no!" Gray shouted. "Not Lyon!"

"Hibiki... hell, maybe even Rufus or Rogue."

"What!?"

Sting heard Natsu say Rogue's name, and felt his heart drop. No way his best friend would try and get with the love of his life, right? And no way she would do that to him, right?

"Rogue and I are like, best friends, that won't happen." You made it clear.

"Hello!? What about me!?" Gray yelled, looking at Natsu.

"Oh yeah, I guess him too." Natsu laughed.

"Love rival!!" You jumped out of your skin, a blue haired girl you hadn't seen in a while appearing next to you.

"Juvia! Quit it!" Gray scolded her.

"Y/n is trying to steal Juvia's beloved Gray!" She cried, running into Gray's arms and forcing him to hug her. He looked in distress, but you didn't do anything about it.

"I'm not stealing Gray from you, Juvia." You sighed, catching your breath from her scare.

"Are you sure?" Gray looked at you, his eyes somewhat sad.

You gave him a weak smile and nodded. "I'm sure. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression."

He took a deep breath and then sighed, Juvia still wrapped around him. "No, I'm sorry. I probably came on way too strong. I'm just glad to have you as a friend."

"I am too." You smiled at him.

"Aww! So cute!" Wendy cheered. "We're all friends!"

"Yeah... friends." Gray looked down a bit.

"You alright?" You asked him.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm cool."
