Bob had introduced you to the class, and had you sit in the middle of the room. Exactly in the middle. The middle row in the middle seat. Behind you was a boy named Hibiki, next to him was a boy named Ren, and on the other side was a boy named Eve. You would constantly hear whispering from them and it made it hard to focus.

"You have beautiful hair, Y/n." You would hear Hibiki say. "It's lovely. I can only imagine how soft it is."

"Well, you'll only be able to imagine." You whispered back, feeling the tad bit annoyed by him. "You better not touch my hair."

"I never touch a woman without her permission." He said.

You looked at him weirdly. "That's the bare minimum." You plainly said, and he just looked dumbfounded as the two boys around him tried not to laugh.

It was a bit later in the day, and it was now your free period. It was labeled as a study hall, but it was more of like a free time situation. You could basically go anywhere in the school as long as you didn't disturb any active classes.

You would stop by your locker and drop your things off, since after this period you would have lunch, and you didn't really want to drag your things around. Once you did, you would wander around until you found the library. You would see a table in the corner that didn't have anyone sitting there, and you would rush to take it. Once you sat down, you took a deep breath, and exhale trying to calm yourself down. This isn't at all what you had expected.

You would rest your head on the table, resting your eyes. You had a massive headache, and you were already itching to go home. Suddenly, you would hear a chair from across from you get pulled out, and be pushed back in. You looked up, and saw Rogue sitting across from you.

"Y/n, how's your first day going?" He smiled softly at you.

"Exhausting." You sighed, slouching in your chair.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He apologized.

"It's not your fault."

"Are you going to walk with me to lunch?" Rogue asked.

"I don't think so. I don't think I'm welcomed."

"What? What makes you think that?" Rogue was obviously confused, and hadn't heard about what had happened that morning.

"Rogue, tell me... Yukino doesn't like me, does she?"

"What? What makes you think that?"

"She seems nice, but fake nice." You explained. "She seems very condescending."

"Honestly? She probably doesn't." He sighed. "She gets very jealous. She's very possessive of Sting. That's why I've been trying to tell him to be careful."

"She basically told me to stay away during lunch." You told him, looking down. At this point you felt tears rising to your eyes, but fought them back.

"You're more than welcomed to join us, Y/n. Hell, you're always welcomed."

"It doesn't feel like it." You sighed, and crossed your leg over the other.

"Please, it's like, a five to one vote. Even Orga and Rufus like you. It's only Yukino because she's jealous."

"I don't want her to be jealous, Rogue. I don't want to come between her and Sting." You explained. "I don't want to be the reason they break up."

"Break up? I don't think they ever will." Rogue told you, flat out. That crushed you a bit, hell, more than a bit, but you didn't show it. But you also remembered what Sting had told you a few nights ago, how being with her felt like a chore.
