Today was the last day of suspension for both Sting and Gray. Sting was dreading leaving you and even wanted to skip going to school to stay with you, but you made sure to persuade him into going to class. As for Gray, he had a flipping feeling in his stomach based off his conversation with Yukino the day prior.

Once Sting got to school, Rogue, Rufus, Orga and Minerva instantly greeted him, welcoming him back from suspension. "Glad to have you back, Sting." Rufus smiled a bit. "It's quite boring without you."

"Haha, thanks man. But I wish it lasted longer." Sting admitted.

"Why's that?" Orga asked. Sting didn't say anything, but had a smirk on his face. Everyone was somewhat clueless as to what that meant, but then it hit Minerva like a ton of bricks.

"Sting! How could you!" She playfully hit his shoulder. She wished she could have done more, but that would have lead to her suspension as well. He just laughed, as Rogue also started to realize what he meant.

"Jeez, Sting." Rogue just sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

After Sting ceased his little laughing outburst, he turned to his friends for a moment. "Anyways, I'll catch you guys later, I'm gonna head towards my locker." He started walking away as his friends waved at him. Sting headed towards his locker, already missing you. But he knew that he would be seeing you after, so he tried to tell himself that it was okay.

He opened his locker and dropped off some books before closing it again. When he did close it, Yukino was standing behind it. "Gah!"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Yukino giggled with a little smile.

"Well, you did." Sting shot at her.

"Can we talk?" She asked, now standing in front of him.

"Why?"

"Because I have a few things to say." She straightened his collar on his uniform jacket, and picked off a few pieces of lint and a H/L, H/C strand of hair. She wasn't pleased by it, but what was she to expect? She pulled of the strand of hair and let it fall to the ground.

"Well, what is it?"

"I just want to apologize for the way I've been acting."

"You shouldn't be apologizing to me, you should be saying that to Y/n."

"I will be soon. I realized what I was doing was wrong, and I was not fair to you."

Sting looked at her strangely, raising an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Yes, really. I'm deeply sorry."

"Well... I guess I accept your apology, but you should talk to Y/n."

"I plan on it, but I'm afraid she hates me."

"Well, can you blame her after what you did?"

"No, I suppose not."

"Right, well..." Sting pulled out his phone to look at the time, and it was almost the start of class. "I'm gonna get going now." He started to walk away from Yukino, but what she did next wasn't what anyone was expecting. Except maybe Gray.

She grabbed his wrist, and forced him back. He was confused, but the emotion that trumped all of them was anger. He was extremely upset that she would grab him in such a way that he spun around to see what he deal was. Before he could even think, she grabbed him by his uniform jacket and pulled him down, crashing her lips onto his. Sting was dumbfounded, and didn't know what to do, so the kiss lasted a bit longer than it should have, but eventually he grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away, but not before someone could get a picture.

"The hell was that!?" Sting screamed at her.

"An apology." She smiled innocently, before walking passed him like nothing had happened. Sting glared at her as she walked away, and then took his sleeve to wipe off the kiss. He then started to walk to his class, feeling agitated.

Gray looked at all the photos he had taken, trying to pick out the best ones. Yukino would come up behind him and look over his shoulder before stopping him. "That's the one." The picture that was on the screen was the perfect moment- her hands gripping his jacket, his hands on her shoulders, and both of their eyes closed as their lips locked. "Send it to me."

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Gray asked.

"I'm positive. It's gonna work. Now send it to me."

Gray thought a moment before he sighed. "Alright, fine. And after I send it to you, I send it to Y/n?"

"Yup. And since she'll be so devastated, that will be your chance to comfort her, and make her regret ever choosing Sting." She smiled innocently, but she was far from that. Gray nodded hesitantly, and sent her the picture through Instagram. And after that, he sent you a text.

You were doing your work when the text from Gray came through, saying a simply 'hey' with a period at the end. That's how you knew something was wrong.

'Hey, what's up?' You replied to him, starting to feel a bit nervous.

'There's something you need to see. I'm sorry, Y/n." And with that, he sent the picture.

When your eyes saw it, at first you couldn't believe it, or maybe even thought it was photoshopped. Why would he kiss her? Why would he even go near her after everything that had happened? A whole bunch of questions ran through your head and you didn't even realize that tears were streaming down your face. Your heart hurt, to a new level you didn't even know existed.

'Y/n? You okay?'

'What do you think.'

You shut off your phone, and placed it face down as you took a breath, but started sobbing. You held your face in your hands, but soon stopped, your sadness now becoming angry. You backed up all of your school stuff and clothes, heading out of his house since you were staying there. Once you left you locked the door to their house and then made your way back home. But on your way, the anger turned back to sadness. You had given him your body, was that not enough? You made sure to show him love, was that not enough? Were you not enough?

You made it up to your room and started crying again when Gray texted you again.

'I'm sorry. Do you need anything?'

'No.'

'You sure?'

'Yes.'

'I can drop off ice cream :)'

'...fine.'

He read the message and smiled, feeling a bit relieved.

'Alright, I'm on my way.'

'What about school?'

'It can wait.'
