"Y/n, you can't leave me!" Sting cried, as he held onto you outside of your house. Rogue stood behind him, wiping a few stray tears from his eyes. And Minerva stood next to him, looking down. There was a moving truck outside of your house, with a whole bunch of mover men taking furniture from the house and loading it up to the truck.
Your mother, Cordelia, had gotten a new job somewhere much farther away from where you lived. This was emotional for you, because you had to leave everything that you had known for ten years. You had to leave your best friends Sting, Rogue, and Minerva.
"Y/n, are you ready to go, hun?" Your mom stood in the doorway of your home, after the last mover had taken out the last piece of furniture.
Sting only held you tighter, crying even harder. You held him too, crying as well. Weisslogia stood behind all of the kids, shaking his head. "Sting, she has to leave. Let her go."
"No!" Sting refused.
It was no secret that even though the both of you were best friends, there were feelings there. When you and Sting first met, he had admitted to having a crush on you, which you returned. Of course, nothing happened since the both of you were too young, but both of your parents made sure you had an amazing friendship, so that when the time came, you could date.
"Sting, I'm warning you." Weisslogia scolded him.
"He's okay, Weiss." Your mother, Cordelia laughed, walking down the front porch steps. "This is very hard for all of them."
You didn't dare let go of Sting, and he didn't let you go either. There were so many memories the both of you had, shared, and he was convinced it would all be thrown out just like that the second you got into that car and drove off.
There was a time in kindergarten where the class demonstrated a wedding. You were fortunate enough to be selected as the bride and Sting the groom. From that point on he had always called you his wife, and you called him your husband. Your mother always thought it was adorable, and knew that when you got old enough the both of you would be in a health relationship.
The love you felt for each other was genuine, and nothing could even compare to being as pure as that.
"Y-You can't leave..." Sting cried onto your shoulder.
"I-I have too." You said quietly. "But I don't w-want to leave..."
"Then don't!" Sting yelled, pulling away from you and looking at your mother. "She can live with me! We can take care of her, right, dad!?"
"You talk as if she's a pet." Weisslogia sighed.
"Sting.." Rogue said quietly, placing a hand on his shoulder. "We can't control this."
"No! Please let her stay!" Sting begged, but your mom just smiled at him, kneeling down to his height.
"What do you think is going to happen, Sting? When we move?" Your mom asked him.
"I-I'll never see her again!"
"That's where you're wrong, Sting. You think a little distance will break your bond with each other? If you think that you're crazy! You two have been friends forever, and you'll continue to be."
Sting looked down, some tears hitting the sidewalk. You sniffed, and ran to hug him one last time. He hugged you back, and tightly.
"I'll miss you." He said.
"I'll miss you, too."
And with that, you were put in the car by your mother, as she drove off behind the moving truck. You turned around in your seat to see Sting out the window, slowly and sadly waving with the rest of your friends and Weisslogia. You waved out the window, and then turned back around in your seat, and pouted.
"Y/n, you okay?" Your mom asked. You shook your head, and then buried your face in your hands. "Aw baby, you'll see him again. This isn't forever, and I have his dad's number, so you'll still be able to talk to him."
But eventually, you would lose contact with him. His father would get a new phone number, or something of that sort, and wouldn't pick up your mother's number. But time went on, and you soon had no time to focus on Sting, Rogue, and Minerva. You began to focus more at your new school, trying to make new friends after you accept that you would no longer be in contact with Sting. It broke your heart initially, knowing that you'd never be able to talk to your best friend again. But you soon started overthinking. Maybe he was the one that didn't want to talk to you. Maybe he didn't want to be friends anymore and wanted to forget you.
The truth was, Weisslogia had gotten a new phone and lost all of his contacts. Therefore, he didn't have your mom's number. And because Weisslogia was more older fashioned, he never picked up a number he didn't recognize. It was a very unfortunate situation.
But Weisslogia made sure Sting never forgot about you. He had printed pictures of you and him from throughout the years and had given them to him. Sting would hold them to his chest, and would have a picture of you and him from the fake kindergarten wedding on the nightstand by his bed. There was even one picture that he would keep in his pocket all the time. And as he grew older, he would look at it and hug it when he was feeling alone.
He never stopped loving you, wondering about you, or daydreaming about what could have been with you. You remained his comfort, even if you weren't there with him physically. But the thought of you cheering him on where ever you were reminded him to keep going, and to give it his all. He would give his all for you.
