There she was, sitting on his bed with him, mascara running down her face as she sobbed into his chest. He had hugged her in an attempt to comfort her, but he felt nothing. Not a damn thing. Not one ounce of pity, guilt or sadness. He felt nothing.
"Please take me back." She begged, pulling away from his chest. His shirt was now all wet from her tears, and had a stain from her mascara. "I'll do anything, please. I-I'll change!"
"No, Yukino." Sting sighed, and stood up from his bed to open his bedroom door. "It's really over. I love Y/n. I always have."
"So you led me on the entire time!?"
"No, and you know damn well that wasn't the case. You know that you were toxic."
"Explain how I was toxic!"
"You were jealous of everyone, but I had no right to be jealous, just to name one thing. But you blame everyone except yourself!"
"But this time it really is Y/n's fault!"
"It's not! It's mine, okay!? If you want someone to blame that isn't yourself, fucking blame me!" He yelled, and she was taken aback. "Her boyfriend cheated on her, they had broken up! But I cheated on you, dammit! You want someone to hate!? Hate me! Not her! Keep her name out of your mouth!"
"You cheated on me!?"
"I did! I'll admit it! It was wrong of me yes, but dammit, I don't have any regrets doing it! She is kind, sweet and so incredibly caring, all things that you're not! So no, I don't feel guilty about it, and you can hate me all you want for it, but the truth of the matter is that she's better than you!"
"How... dare you! I can ruin you!"
"I'd like to see you try! If it wasn't for me, you'd be a nobody right now! If you think you can push, I guarantee I can push harder than you! Now leave!"
She wiped the mascara from her face, and stormed out of his room. Weisslogia, who was sitting on the couch downstairs heard every little thing that was said, and could figure out if he should be disappointed or proud. Disappointed that his son cheated on a woman, or proud for telling off a toxic one. Once she was completely out of the house, Weisslogia made his way upstairs to his son's room. He knocked on the doorway, since the door was already opened. He saw Sting in his bed, holding his head.
"You know, cheating on a girl isn't cool." Weisslogia started, walking into the room.
"It's not like I really cheated. It was just a kiss."
"A kiss with a girl that you've wanted for a long time."
"It's not like I had sex with her while still with Yukino." Sting huffed.
"Sometimes girls consider it cheating if you even think about another girl."
"I understand that, but-"
"You understand that, but you were doing it."
"What?"
"You cheated on Yukino with Y/n, Sting. I bet you since Y/n had moved back here, all you thought about was her, right?" Weisslogia asked.
"Yeah, but not in that way... I don't think."
"Chances are that you did. It was then that Yukino started to feel inferior."
"It's not like I meant to."
"I know, but as much as I don't like Yukino, I think you should apologize."
"Apologize for what!?" Sting yelled, standing up from his bed. "She's the one with the bad attitude, and spreading lies about Y/n! Why should I apologize!?"
"I'm not saying that her actions are just! I'm saying that maybe you should apologize for cheating on her."
"I didn't cheat on her!"
"You admitted it yourself!"
"I only said it to piss her off! I don't consider what I did cheating!"
"And what if you kissed another girl while dating Y/n, huh!? You wouldn't consider that cheating!?"
"Of course I would, but I would never cheat in her." Sting said, his teeth gritted.
"What's the difference, Sting?"
"I love Y/n. I stopped loving Yukino a long time ago."
**
You tried calling Sting again, and again there was no answer. You took a breath, thinking that maybe his phone was dead, maybe he left it in his car... maybe it was on the charger, or maybe he turned it off so he could get his homework done without distractions. So you decided to get back to doing the same.
You tried to focus again on your math homework, but even the simplest thing seemed to trip you up. Your mind was racing, and math was on the bottom on this list. So there you were, holding your head in your hands, crying. Your tears hitting the math papers, as you gripped into your hair. You couldn't focus, not with all of this.
You had become very good at silently crying, which some people viewed as not a very nice skill, but to you it was. You could cry without your mother checking up on you, even if it was to just let out simple frustrations.
As you continued crying, you heard a soft knock at your bedroom door. "Y/n?" You heard the voice called, and you knew it was Sting. You quickly jumped from your chair and wiped off your face, but it was obvious that you had been crying. You opened the door, and there was Sting, looking down at his feet. He slowly looked up at you, and noticed how red your eyes were, and the stains on your cheeks. "Oh Y/n..."
"Sting, I've called you like three times..."
"You have?" He pulled out his phone, and you noticed it was moderately charged. "I haven't gotten anything."
"It went straight to voicemail."
"Y/n, I promise you I didn't get anything. I would never purposefully ignore you."
"Sting, Yukino-"
"I know, she showed up at my house."
"She went to your house!?"
"Nothing happened! I mean, I yelled at her and she was boohooing because I wouldn't take her back, but that's all that happened."
"So this all was an attempt to get you back..." you trailed off.
"Y/n, don't worry about it, she's just-"
"No, Sting! I am going to worry about it! Moving back here has caused me nothing but issues! This isn't what I wanted! Sting, she's calling me a slut, a whore, a home wrecker! Do you have any idea what the hell that's doing to me!?"
"Y/n, I honestly cannot imagine what it's like, and I'm sure it's awful, but I promise you that I will-"
"No Sting! You said you had it solved!"
"I did! But she's just being a petty bitch!"
"God, I can't take this anymore!" You screamed, turning your back to Sting.
"No, no no no no no." He said frantically, rushing into your room and sitting you in the bed to look at him. "We're gonna get through this, okay? Don't think like that, please. Y/n I love you."
"This is exhausting..."
"I know it is, it is for me too. But I will make it better, okay? Have faith in me."
"I have faith in you, but Yukino... she's just..."
"I know Y/n, it's frustrating. But I'm not going to let her get in the way of our relationship, okay? You gotta be crazy to think I'd let her do that."
"I'm not strong enough Sting. I can't handle this.."
"It will be okay, trust me. I have an idea, if worse comes to worse."
