"You're pregnant!?"
"I just told you she wasn't." Minerva facepalmed, motioning Rogue inside of the apartment and closing the door.
"You we're close to being an uncle, Rogue." Sting laughed, but you hit his chest.
"That's not funny." You scolded.
"I thought it was pretty funny." Minerva raised her hand a bit.
"This was a serious situation!" You whined, stomping your foot.
"Sorry my love." Sting apologized, and kissed the side of your head.
"So you're not pregnant?" Rogue asked to clarify.
"No, I'm not." You assured him.
"Sadly." Sting added on.
"Sadly!?"
"I'm kidding! Kinda, anyways..."
"Anyways, thank you Minnie." You smiled, giving her a hug.
"Of course, no problem." She said, hugging you back.
"And I'll pay you back as soon as I can."
"Don't worry about it." She laughed. "I'm just glad that I'm not an aunt yet." Minerva laughed. You laughed a bit with her, relieved.
"Alright well, we should get going." Sting said, wrapping an arm around your waist. "I have a special day for us planned~"
"Is that so?" You asked him. He nodded and looked at Rogue, giving him a little wink before walking out of Minerva's apartment with you. Rogue chuckled a bit, shaking his head.
"What was that about?" Minerva asked Rogue, crossing her arms.
"Nothing, him and I just had a conversation last night."
"What about?"
"He scared about losing Y/n again."
"Valid." Minerva sighed. "I mean, after everything I don't think she would leave, but how he handled it was bullshit."
"I agree with you."
"So what did you tell him?"
"I told him that if he wants to keep her, he's gonna have to prove it. Actions are louder than words, ya know?" Rogue smiled.
"Aaaahh, so that's why he's taking her out?"
"Yes, he's taking her out for food, shopping, a movie..."
"All the stuff he hated doing with Yukino." Minerva laughed.
"Haha, yes." Rogue laughed a bit, but then stopped after a few seconds.
"Oh, I meant to ask, why are you here?" Minerva tilted her head. "I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but I'm just confused is all."
"Oh, right. I should have texted you first, I'm sorry."
"No no, it's okay, really." She laughed a bit. "What's up?"
"There's... something I've been meaning to tell you for a while now."
"Oh?"
"I'm... not sure how to say it." He said, his voice sounding softer than usual, as he turned around and took a seat on the couch.
"Just say it." Minerva joined him on the couch, starting to feel a bit nervous.
"Fine... I've liked you for quite some time now."
"Like? In what context? Like- like like? Or just like?"
"Wow, that sounded like some kindergarten shit." Rogue laughed a bit, hopefully lightening up the awkwardness a bit. "I mean, I really like you. I'm interested in you more than a friend way."
"You like like me?" She asked, her eyes widening a bit.
"Yes." He laughed and nodded. "I just thought that maybe now would be the time to tell you."
"How long have you liked me for?"
"For a very long time, Minerva."
"I'm... shocked." She let out a breathy laugh.
"Yeah." Rogue adverted his eyes away, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"I thought you liked Kagura." She admitted.
"What? No." He shook his head. "I do not like Kagura."
"That's good." She sighed, getting up from the couch and standing in front of him. He looked at her confused, but took her hands when she stuck them out to him. She helped him up from his seat and hugged him tightly.
"Why... is that good?" He asked softly, hugging her back.
"Because I like you too."
**
Sting had taken you to your special spot. He had planned a picnic, bought a new blanket, and with the help of Rogue, made all of the food for it to. It was a really nice gesture that no one had ever done for you.
"Thank you, Sting." You smiled, placing a kiss on his cheek. "This is amazing."
"I'm glad you like it. I just wanted to do something that proved that I love you."
"Aw Sting, you always show that you love me."
"No, I feel like this past week or two I've been a complete ass."
"Well, yes.." you agreed with a little laugh. "But I'm also to blame. We should have talked it out."
"I agree, but we were both just so angry."
"It's whatever now, we are pasted it." You smiled.
"Yeah, and I'm glad I have you back."
"I'm glad to have you back too." You caressed his cheek, and guided him into a soft kiss. It only lasted a few seconds before he pulled away, a big fat smile on his face.
"I have the best girlfriend in the world."
"I have the best boyfriend on the world." You repeated him.
"I can't wait until winter break, you can spend all of your time with me." He smiled widely.
"But won't you have basketball practice or something?" You tilted your head.
"I can skip a practice or two." He waved it off. "And besides, that has nothing to do with you living with me for that time."
"I'm not sure if my mom would let me stay with you for that long."
"Well, then I'll stay with you!"
You laughed at his excitement, and nodded. "We will see what happens."
"I love you so much, Y/n."
"I love you too, Sting."
"Y/n, will you promise me something?"
"What is it?"
"Promise that you'll be mine forever."
"Sting, you're not.."
"What..? Oh, no." He laughed nervously. "What I'm asking is... well, I want you to promise yourself to me. I'll get you a ring, think of it as the engagement of the engagement."
"Wow.."
"Will you accept?" His eyes read hopefully, his smile wide. You noticed he has his hand behind him. You weren't too sure what to say. You were shocked. What would your mother say?
But in the moment, who cares? How did you feel about Sting? What did you want to do?
"Yes, Sting... I'll promise myself to you."
He let out a sigh of relief, and then presented you with a little ring box. He opened it and showed you the promise ring he had gotten you. It was dainty, nothing too big or flashy. The stone was cut in the shape of a heart and was f/c. It was honestly perfect. He put it on your ring finger, and then kissed the ring once it was on.
"You promised me, and now I will promise you."
