As Monday came around, Sting made sure to fulfill his promise. He did make it right. When you walked into the school no one looked at you weirdly like that had done before, which you found a bit weird but was thankful for.
You made it to your locker and there was Juvia, looking at you with an angry look. "How dare you." She said, squinting her eyes.
"Huh?"
"You're trying to steal Juvia's beloved Gray!"
"Oh, no, me and him are just friends, I'm not trying to steal him." You assured her. "Besides I have a boyfriend." Juvia would just squint at you, before stomping away from you. "Weird." You muttered to yourself.
You opened your locker only for it to be instantly shut by Sting, who wore a huge smile. "Good morning, Y/n!" He said cheerfully.
"Good morning, Sting." You smiled back at him.
"Oh, by the way, I found out who was talking about you. Two girls were talking about you, right?"
"Yeah, but I had no idea who they were." You told him.
"Well, you don't have to worry about them anymore!" Sting said proudly.
"Please tell me you didn't threaten them." You sighed.
"What? Of course not! I had Minerva do it. And she was happy to." He smiled. You laughed a bit, and Yukino joined shortly after.
"Hello, Sting." She said in a sweet tone. She grabbed onto his arm and tried to kiss his cheek, but he turned away, dodging it.
"Hey." He simply said, and then continued to talk to you. "So Y/n, what are you doing after school?"
"Oh nothing, probably just going home."
"Do you need a ride?" Sting smiled.
"Oh, you're joking." Yukino laughed a bit. "Sting, you always drive me home after school."
"Well, she can come with us and I can drop her off after you."
"Uh, no. If you absolutely insist on driving her, you will drop her off before me."
"It doesn't make sense, she's my neighbor. So to go to her house when she lives next to me, and then go to yours and go back to my house doesn't make any sense." Sting told her, but she wasn't having it.
"No Sting." She told him. "You'll drive me and no one else."
"That's pretty controlling of you." He said to her plainly.
"Y/n, you don't care to walk home, right?" She asked with a fake smile. "Or maybe you could have Gray drive you home. The two of you seem to be getting pretty close, huh? Does your boyfriend know about that?"
"Gray and I are just friends." You told her, trying your best to remain calm.
"Hmm, are you sure? I heard from a little birdie that the two of you went on a date." She smirked. Sting then widened his eyes and looked at you.
"You guys went on a date!?"
"No, it wasn't like that. He saw I was having a rough day so he took me to get food. I'm loyal to my boyfriend." You rolled your eyes.
"I bet you are." Yukino rolled her eyes. Sting looked at her, and then pulled his arm away from her.
"Yukino, you need to stop." You were actually shocked that Sting was making an effort, but it wasn't like you were doubting him or anything. You knew he would make a change, but you didn't think he would go as far as telling off his girlfriend.
"Y/n!" You would hear someone call your name from behind you. You turned to see who it was, and it was Gray walking up to you. Sting wore an unimpressed expression as Yukino lifted her head up. "Do you wanna walk to class with me?"
