15: Lapis Time!

Lapis: Hey readers! this time it's my turn for a nuzlock so here we go!

Super Mario Odyssey

Rules: Every outfit is 1 extra life. Die, lose an outfit. Out of outfits, game over.

Bowser hits me off to the cap kingdom, get Cappy to help me out. Become a frog, get to Topper and move on to cascade kingdom. Capture chain chomp and get the first power moon, find odyssey, get to dino and perform a Dino Skip to the first real boss. 3 bonks to the face and the first multi moon is mine. With the help of the moon on the cliff, I'm off to the Sand Kingdom. Krazzy cap outfit, easy moons and almost losing it after trying to get coins and it's off to the Lake Kingdom

Sand moon, Music moon, Spiky chest moom, a few moons underwater, new outfit and we're out! Wooded. 2 pipe moons. Oh no I lost my extra hearts. 2 nut moons. Chomp flower. Dead chomp flower. 3rd and 4th nut moon. Flying moom. 3 from Spewart. Another... nut moon... why so many nut related moons? Anyway, charger moon, almost death to goombas, goomba moon, and it's time for a bowser fight.

Grab his cap, a few punches to his most prized possessions and we get shot to Lost Kingdom with a destroyed odyssey. Lost 2 lives attempting to do a klepto skip and decided to go back to a normal run. Save my best friend, butterfly moon, losed a 3rd life trying to do a cool trick, 2nd butterfly moon, and I realized I only have 1 life left. Realizing that I quickly got the last mooms needed and went for an outfit run before the metro kingdom.

After an almost death experience with a tank, it's off to mecha wigler. Quickly scraped the pile of metal and the moons are mine! Helped out Pauline, had fun at the festival and got the missing moons.

Seaside always reminds me of the fun at beaches so that's first. 4 fountains unplugged, the defeat of Brigadier Mollusque-Lanceur III (that's a name and a half) and it's time for Shiveria! 2 from Wind cliff cavern, 2 from Snowy Cliff, 2 from Shiveria town, 2 from Icicle cavern, 1 from the shop and Lunchin time. Fight with Spewart went well but soon I remembered how hard this kingdom is. Every enemy is strong, lava is pain, this is going to be hard. Lost a life in a hat door, moom from radish, moon from story, multi moon by becoming meat, help of a Fire Bro and a few story related ones with only 2 other deaths and I was almost clear. 2 lava Bubbles in the cooking pots and time for a lunch break

Time to show this dude who's boss but I got shot down and landed in Ruined Kingdom before I could give Bowzer a slap to the face. Almost died to the dragon but still won. Skipping to about midway through Bowzer kingdom, I got to a block that needed to be broken. I remember somewhere that the blocks (Let's call them bowser metal) can be broken by Pokio if you hit it enough. Now I could have used the bowzer bombs and instantly broke it, but wanted to do it anyway. About 44 seconds (I did have a timer) the Bowzer metal broke. Not worth it but I did get bragging rights and a moon shard. Quick shopping time and Samurai Mario is ready to defeat Bowser. Samurai Mario died very quickly. Mechanic Mario is ready to defeat Bowser. Wall climbing time and Now time to make the Broodlas finally pay! Quick and easy with a few attempted speedrun strats and the broodals were down.

Heading to Moon Kingdom with a stylish new outfit was looking good. I knew the moon was gonna be hard. Bowzer is manageable for me but the moon labyrinth was going to be tough. So I went to the door, took a deep breath, and turned around and went for another Speedrun trick. 30 tries later and I gave up. So I prepared. I got a lot of lives, and it's time to do it. Get flying, tank time to break the cage, fly once again and zap up. Hammer time to the tropical wigglers and become a bonzi bill. Died. Take 2 at the bonzi and rocket to the invisible bridge. Charge through the rocks and show madam broodle who's boss once again. 3 solid gold chomp shots to the face and she's down for good. Time to crash this wedding! Get the hat, dogge the stone, punch in the nards, doge tail. Repeat 3 times and win! Side note, Pizza Time Rock and Roll Remix makes a good song to play while fighting bosses!

Anyway, fall deeper into the moon, capture bowzer, and obliterate the moon! Only 1 extra death, peach saved, Mario and Bowser both rejected (ouch!), roll credits with only around 7 deaths. Not bad!

Lapis: Not bad for my 3rd or 4th time speedrun. Anyway, Sunshine or Alex should be next and we hope you enjoy the rest of your day and the next. Bye!
