The kids chapters will keep going, this is a small break from that but will be continued next
Nothing is going on in the squad house really. It's honestly quiet. So when Lapis realized how calm everything is she ran right up to her room, locked the door and closed all the blinds in her room.
Lapis: Time to have some fun
She pulls off all her clothes and jumps into her closet. When comes out she's in a black dress with white spots, and black shoes. She goes on YouTube, plays some Eletro swing music

And starts to just freestyle dance

She's going great, having the time of her life with no cares in the world when she notices Spark is in her room and screams in shock
Lapis: How long have you been in here and why are you here
She's blushing with embarrassment
Spark: About 3 seconds and cause you forgot your phone downstairs and I wanted to give it to you
Lapis: But I locked the door!
Spark: Portal gun
Lapis: You seriously just did that when I had my door locked for a reason?!
Spark: 1, I was downstairs when I portaled so I didn't even know it was locked. and 2, I don't see why you locked it, your just dancing
Lapis: Well this is my big secret! I dance when I'm alone! Now get out of here!
Spark: Jeez, sorry for just wanting to give you your phone
He leaves and lapis notices a new dare notification on her phone
Lapis: *sigh* I just wanted to have some fun today
She looks out the door and no one's there so she finishes the song before getting the dare done
A few minutes later, Rose shows up in Lapis's room
Rose: What's going on?
Lapis: Simple ask for you today. Where did you get all your berries from?
Rose: Well some came from regular shops, a few from Spark, last last Christmas Solar got some from other dimensions, but last Christmas he gave Solar and I a very basic version of the portal gun and we sometimes go on mini adventures together. We get the seeds from berry plants and if we like them, we keep and grow them!
Lapis: But how do you tell if they are bad?
Rose: That's the thing. We have absolutely no way of knowing, so almost always it's me testing them with a video recording, a notebook, and Solar or Spark ready with medical care
Lapis: Alright. Thanks
A day later
Lapis: I got some of the recordings! And for fun, let's watch a few
Rose: this is test number... I'm just going to stop keeping count. Ok. This Berry is a dark blue sorta purply and is oozing with juices. Let's hope this goes well!
She eats the berry and not much happens at the moment
Rose: It's sweet and juicy but not much beside-
She almost instantly inflates into a ball with her skin turning a similar color to the berry. There's a jump cut to her back to normal
Rose: Well that berry is useless unless you have some kind of weird fetish for that I guess
Rose: Here we go again. This ones red and has a sort of... white marbling to it
Spark: Kinda looks like higher grade steaks to me
She eats half of the berry
Rose: Wow, this is surprisingly good
Spark has another one
Spark: Tastes like uncooked wagyu. Actually, it tastes exactly like uncooked wagyu!
Rose: Wow. So that's what I've been missing out on as a vegan
Spark: I wonder...
There's another time skip
Rose: We've done some testing with the berry and the juices when heated up, taste exactly like a Japanese A4 wagyu steak! Mixing it with tofu which has literally no taste already, and you have a cheap, plant based 300 dollar steak!
Another timeskip and Rose is in a dress with a lot of makeup
Rose: I don't know how, but word about the berry got out, and now I have a Nobel Prize!
Lapis: Oh yeah! I forgot about that day! Might be a chapter worthy story... guess you'll have to wait for it to possibly show up in Season 2!!
Rose: Purple berry with red stripes. Let's hope this goes well
She eats the berry and her eyes turn purple
Rose: Woah!! Heat vision! This is cool
Solar walks by and noticed her eye color change
Solar: New berry?
Rose: Yup
She notices a red color around Solar's crotch
Rose: Umm, did something happen?
Solar: I umm... spilled coffee on myself
She sees his face getting hotter and remembers something about him anyway
Rose: But you never drink coffee. I thought you hated it
Solar: *sigh* I can't lie to you... I peed myself
Rose: I'm really sorry for bringing it up!
Solar: It's ok. Can we just please pretend this never happened?
Rose: Promise to never say a word about this!
Lapis: But I will!!
Rose: This one's warm just touching it. Im excepting this to be spicy so I've taken extra precautions
Sunshine: That's me
Rose: Here goes nothing!
She eats it and her body warms up a lot
Rose: It isn't spicy, well it is a little but it's just making me really hot like I've been out in the sun all day
Sunshine: Do you want me to reverse it?
Rose: I think I'm fine
Nope, she passed out soon after and Sunshine reversed her time
Rose: I truthfully don't have that best of feelings on this one
It's a deep black berry. She eats it, and nothing happens
Rose: It's just kinda dry strangely
After a while, nothing happened
Rose: Guess it had no result
Lapis: Well this was a fun chapter. We would be up for more berry shenanigans if you guys want. We find it fun to create random side effects/effects. Also we don't have any real reason for this, but we wanna be nice!
