Lapis is bored, spinning in her chair just trying to get through the day
Lapis: Something's gotta happen
About half the squad was gone for a week and a half cause cause of something. Then, she had an idea. And oh man it was a bad idea. She went to the 'failed projects' part of The Lab and saw a huge laser gun with a disco ball at the tip of it, with a big red 'do not push' button next to it. Part of her wanted to push it, and another part of her really wanted to push it. Luckily, Ella was nearby to try and be the voice of reasoning
Ella: It's right next to a planet destroying laser gun! And it's in the scrap pipe
Lapis: Which means it probobly won't do anything
Ella: And if it does?
Lapis: One way to find out!
She slammed the button
The gun roared to life and the tip started to glow. It created a huge flash of light blinding everyone around right before shooting a unknown amount of lasers
A few seconds later, Ella got up first
Ella: Everything hurts- Lapis! You ok?
Lapis groans in pain but gets up
Lapis: Yeah- wait- what's wrong with my voice- why is everything loose?!
Ella looks up but has to blink a few times for things to go into focus. Once is did, she realized Lapis got turned into a kid
Ella: Oh my gosh you look so cute!
Lapis: Shut up! It's weird for you to say that
Ella: We'll I'm 17 and you're... I wanna say 7, so I think I have full permission to call you cute cause you look like a chubby baby
She has a mini temper tantrum when they heard someone laughing in the background. Mini Spark
Spark: I'm mad at you Lapis, but this is really funny
Ella: what happened to your arm?
He doesn't have one on his left
Spark: I had to take it off. 50 pounds is too much for a 7 year old to just walk around with casually.
Ella: More importantly can-
Spark: Yes as long as you don't kill me. I'm not as strong
He got squeezed as Ella squealed in happiness
Solar was out in the garden, working on plants like usual when a weird glow came from the windows and then a beam shot into the warehouse
Solar: What's going on...
Then he remembered someone was grabbing fertilizer from the warehouse
Solar: Rose!
He forgot Ace was with her when he yelled. But his mind was panicking so cut him some slack in forgetting to yell his name too
When he rushed to the warehouse, he could have sworn he heard crying
Solar: Rose? Ace?
On the floor, was a little Rose, sleeping, with a young Ace, who is crying, both around the same age
Solar: Oh man! What do-
Rose starts to wake up a little so he whispers
Solar *whispering* What do I do!?!
Ace: Daddy?
Solar: *internal panicking* (Oh man! Now what do I do!?!)
He grabs both of them and brings them inside
