52: The Egg

Lapis lays on her bed

Lapis: *sigh* no more blood. I just want to relax-

Solar: Hey big sis, there's a package for you again

Her eyes shot open

Solar: And it's kinda heavy but I got it up

Lapis: Alright, thanks. Actually can you get Sunny in here again?

Solar: Sure

Few minutes later

Sunshine: Another one?!?

Lapis: Hey readers, this is our last exception to the rule. No more sending us stuff. It's against the rules. You want tech or an item, we'll make it. Got it?

Sunshine: Now what?

Lapis: Let's open it I guess

Sunshine: Hold on again

She runs to her room and comes back with a portal gun, a medigun. and a regular gun

Sunshine: Let's do this

Same as before, Lapis opens the package, and inside is an egg. A really, really big yellow egg

Lapis: Hugh. Guess we're eating omelets for lunch

Sunshine: I agree with the getting rid of it part, but were not eating this. This is a dragon egg!! A THUNDER dragon egg

Lapis: Oh. So we destroy it?

Sunshine: No!! Let me deal with this, and you go take a shower. You still have dried blood in your hair

Lapis: Seriously? I thought I got it all

Sunshine: Go ask daddy for a shampoo that gets rid of blood. He has a special kind that's effective

Lapis leaves to get her hair cleaned, meanwhile Sunshine takes the medigun and heals the egg. She wants to make sure it's healthy after all. Then using her portal gun, she teleports herself to a dragon's nest. More specifically, the next of a thunder dragon who recently lost her baby. Sneaking next to the sleeping with tears in her eyes, she slowly places the egg next to the mother before running to a safe place to hide.

Not 3 minutes later, the mother wakes up. She sees the egg and moves it closer to herself so it'll stay warm. Motherly instincts win once again

Sunshine: *whispering to herself* We don't know how to raise a dragon, but I'm sure she'll do great

With the reassurance the baby will be safe, she heads home. It's time to take a nap after today
