55: Lights Out

Lapis: Woohoo!! Regular dare and an ask!! Let's do this!!

Spark: You called?

Lapis: Yeah, ask for you! How many limbs have you lost?

Spark: As in total, or permanently?

Lapis: Both

Spark: Permanently only my left arm. In total.... I stoped counting after 200-300

Lapis: oh my god!!

Spark: Yeah, and you wondered why I had hard times sleeping. PTSD fueled nightmares

Lapis: well now I feel really bad about waking you up so many times

Spark: We were kids! You were hungry! I don't blame you at all cause I probably would have done the same. Maybe less violently but still

Lapis: And now for the dare!!

Every single light in the house goes out. Followed by FNAF 1 Freddy's theme. Which is then followed by a scream and charged up laser sound from Spark who is now terrified. This caused Lapis to burst into laughter

Lapis: *laughing* Sorry, sorry! I did not mean to press that

Spark: *sigh* you're gonna give me a heart attack

Lapis: I accidentally hit my soundboard, I promise it wasn't intentional!!

She slipped her finger and played a different sound, one that would typically be used in a horror movie to build suspense or scare someone. Which was effective!! There was another scream.

Spark: That was Sunshine!

They both raced to her room to make sure she's ok. They found her trying to give herself a pep talk

Sunshine: You're a big girl now Sunny!! No more scared of the dark! You can rip out the tooth of a shark no problem so the dark shouldn't be an issue even if you can't see!

Lapis: Is your pep talk working?

She screamed again, and started to hug Alex who was just waking up from a nap

Alex: *yawn* what- what's going on?

He then noticed how close his head was to his best friend's and began to blush

Lapis: Sorry. We got a dare that's basically to keep the lights out for a day

Alex stuck out one of his hands and created a small flame, big enough to illuminate most of the room

Alex: Better?

Sunny nodded her head but didn't let go.

Ella: What's wrong?!

Spark: Sunny got scared and Alex is comforting her

Sunshine: I'm fine! I'm fine! How about you guys go check on the others instead

Lapis: Your room, your rules

She left, followed by Ella and Spark once they made sure she's ok

Sunshine: S-sorry

She let go of her best friend. He was a little sad about it, but understood

Alex: So you can fight nearly any monster, but the dark is where you draw the line?

Sunshine: It's not the dark fully. It's the dark, plus creepy sounds. Cause I've gone against a lot of freaky things that only appear in pure darkness

Alex: Like those Backrooms monster things?

Sunshine: Yeah, those were what spooked me first. But forget that! Let's go... do something. *sigh* I'm trying not to panic right now, but it's getting harder and harder to not think-

Alex wrapped his arms around her again, as she melted right into the hug

Alex: Hugs really are your favorite thing, Hugh?

Sunny: 2nd. You're my favorite

Alex can no longer tell if she's trying to flirt, drop hints that she links him too, or is just being honest. Probably the last, but now his entire face is red, but the dark was good at hiding it

Lapis: Hi readers!! Been a while, Hugh? Just thought we should bring this back. Anywayyy, this one was kinda short due to a lack of ideas. Seriously. Many times the author would come here, yet this is all that could be made. So, sorry Hatchlin, we'll do our best to make the next one better!! But time for another thing we wish to talk about. Spark's bounty hunter name. It's lame! Party-Tron was a placeholder, and it's in desperate need of a change. If anyone's got ideas, we're listening. And will give credit of course if you guys think of something we like. Why I need it now is because newer chapters in the main story are going to mention him and it would be best to have the permanent name
