Short: Your Turn for a Birthday

It was another regular day in the squad house. Most were still sleeping, but a few early birds were up. Ella, Sunshine, and Solar were all in the kitchen, enjoying their drinks before Pearl (or whoever was willing to make breakfast) made food

Solar: Oh! I just remembered!! It's big sis's birthday tomorrow!

Sunshine: And daddy's!

Ella: Why do they celebrate their birthdays on the same day?

Solar and Sunny both looked at her like she lost her mind

Ella: Oh right!! I keep forgetting. Wait, why did you say it's Lapis's birthday and not both of their?

He has everything he could ever want so gifts aren't needed, he gets to spend time with his loved ones just celebrating Lapis's, and she loves her birthday so much, the joy she feels rubs off onto him so he doesn't really care about the fact he's ignored so many birthdays

Sunshine: From what I've heard, he's missed half his birthdays

Solar: Mom and Dad would make sure they both got to celibate their day even if big bro didn't want to, so when it became just us, he completely stopped celebrating his

Hearing this, Ella was getting sadder, and sadder. He's sacrificed his arm, his childhood, gone though so much, and he doesn't even take one day out of the year to celebrate himself!?! Well, as his awesome girlfriend, that's not gonna slide

Ella: I'm not letting him miss out this year. He's gonna enjoy it, whenever he likes it or not!!

A few hours later

Lapis: Sure, I'm cool with it. Just make sure I get some cake and I'm satisfied

Pearl: Then it's settled. We will throw Spark the greatest party he's ever had

Sunshine: 2nd. There's literally NO way we can beat the party that was thrown after the Piglin war

Rose: Greatest birthday?
