Lapis: This isn't a dare, but I thought we should talk about it at some point to not confuse things. Time travel is so complicated, the author refuses to be accurate with it, and created his own version/rules for it which is much more simplified. So I'll try to explain it all.
Time travel isn't something that could be created using an invention, only a power that is rarely ever giving.
The way it works IS the same as it's just traveling from one point in time to another, but it doesn't completely change the past like in a lot of shows or movies. The way it works for our dimension is all of time is set, and planed for.
Let me just say it like this. If 4 year old Sunshine were to go in time, and kill someone, (she would never, but this is hypothetical), there would be no effect on the future because that was ment to happen and already did. We'll still answer any questions if this is confusing, but we feel like this is a good enough explication
