32: A Performance of A Lifetime

It's just another day with the group as kids. It's surprisingly calm, but that is only because everyone is bored. Even the non affected were

Diamond: Another story?

The kids: No

Lapis: Pirates?

The other kids: No

Sunshine: Nerf war?

No one responded but someone shot her with a big dart

Ella: We could all sing or listen to music

Ace: My throat still hurts from yelling yesterday

Rose: Can I have another one of those energy berries?

Lapis: Depends. Are they addicting?

Solar: No. None of the berries are. You might be addicted to the tastes but not like it's a drug. I'll go get you one

Lapis: Any other adults got any bright ideas?

Jake: Snowball fight?

Pearl: I'm not the biggest fan of the cold

There was silence for a bit

Ella: We could have a dance party

Everyone looks at each other and all agree to it in their own ways

Good thing Spark already had a dancing room. Disco floor, wood floor for tap or ballet, a floor that can change infinitely to fit any dance type!

Spark was breakdancing (and is probably more flexible then any kid his age should be) Pearl was incredible at Ballet, Ella was really good with Up Town Funk, it's debatable if what Ace did was considered dancing or not, but everyone was having fun so they didn't care, safe to say, everyone was having fun . Even though some weren't dancing

Few hours later, almost everyone was tired and just left. Keyword, almost. While the parents and kids left, Pearl decided to stay but left the group when no one was around. When she went back

Pearl: Is it morally wrong to sneak into someone's place just to have fun?...

There's a sign near the entrance to the dance room

Dance room. Use whenever you want

Pearl: I guess so

She may or may not have accidentally triggered the weapons while trying to turn on the wooden floor but did turn it off before Spark woke up

She tried to a pirouette but kept loosing her balance. After around the 20th thud from her falling, Diamond came by to see what the sound was from and saw a very bruised up Pearl

Diamond: Is everything ok?

Pearl: Um yeah I was just trying to dance

Diamond: Maybe you should take a break, you look like you fell off the stairs

Pearl: I didn't, I'm just having a hard time doing a Pirouette or any ballet moves for Thst mater

Diamond: I think I could help

Pearl: Really?

Diamond: My mom was a dance teacher and I think I still have some of her old clothes and I did learn some things so I'll help you out

The next day

Yesterday they did a lot of practice together. Pearl learned new moves, and Diamond was reminded of what it felt like to help Rose back when they lived in the cave. Today though, Pearl was going to do a Ballet performance for everyone

Everyone clapped and applauded her and she felt top of the world
