Asa hadn't intended to fall asleep in the chair beside Brenda, with her arms crossed over the table, using them as a pillow. The room had gotten so quiet though, that she'd drifted into a sleep, not realizing when everyone else had found their way to sleeping bags on the floor. She had gotten cold while watching the group play cards, waiting for Gally, Thomas and Newt get back. She'd found herself snug in the sweater, planning on removing it before Gally had seen.

She woke though, feeling arms lift her from the chair, cradling her with ease. Her eyes didn't have to open to figure out who it was, something in just the way he'd held her feeling so familiar. Her arms wrapped over his neck, head fitting comfortably against his chest.

She was so exhausted, entirely too dazed to keep the words from spilling out, "I missed you." Her voice was quiet, eyes struggling to open from sleep.

"I missed you too." He spoke in a hushed tone, careful not to wake the others as he found his way to the door. Gally kicked the door open with his foot, walking out into the dark hall. "I didn't mean to wake you, I just wanted to get you somewhere more comfortable." He told her, readjusting his hand around her waist.

"'M comfortable right here." She mumbled out, her mouth opening before she could even think of what she was saying.

"I was thinking more like a bed." He chuckled quietly, her arms tightening around him. She nodded slowly, allowing him to carry her to the room. As they got inside, he set her down gently on the soft cushion.

Her arms kept around his neck as he let her go, not wanting to let him go.

"Please don't leave." Her words came out in a plead as his hands went over hers.

"I'm just gonna get you a blanket." He assured her, but her head shook.

"Can you just.. lay here?" Asa moved over, her back pressing against the wall to make room for him. He stared down at her hesitantly, his eyes weary.

"Are you sure?" He asked, his knee resting on the edge of the bed.

"Yeah." With her response, Gally laid beside her, keeping a comfortable space between them. She reached for his hand, fingers looping beneath the bracelet. "You're still wearing it." She mumbled, her head tilting up to meet his sad eyes.

"You're not." Asa frowned at his broken words and suddenly, the tears she had been begging for had fallen, all at once. Gally was quick to tangle his arms around her, bringing her to his chest as she let out heavy sobs.

"Hey, Asa, it's okay." He cooed, rubbing small circles into her back. ""It's fine if you.. moved on. I don't blame you, okay? I fucked up so bad and I—"

"I haven't—I haven't moved on Gally." She choked out, her hands bundling the sleeves of the sweater in her hands. "Not even a little."

"Then, why-why did you take it off?" He asked, Asa crying out at the question.
