I woke with a heavy heart.
I checked my social media accounts specially on tiktok. Di na ako nag oopen ngayon ng twitter I deleted my twitter account for a peace of mind.
"What the hell is this?" I whispered to myself.
Headline today yung issue na I'm a adopted child.
"Sirene Marcos the adopted child of Marcos Jr."
Di ko alam kung matatawa ba ako sa headline ngayon eh. Wala na ba silang maibato samin na issue. Walang wala na ba?
Sandali akong natahimik at pinakiramdaman ko yung sarili. Bigla akong pumikit pero wala akong naririnig ng kahit na ano.
A message popped out on my phone.
"Good morning Sirene." Tim said.
I went downstairs and nakita ko yung mga helpers namin dito na aligaga.
"Ano pong meron?"
"A-ay mam Sirene kayo po pala."
"May pinapadala po kasi si mam Liza sa HQ today."
"Ako na magdadala."
"Sigurado po ba kayo?"
"Yeah paki lagay nalang po yan sa room ko."
"Okay po mam."
I spend a few minutes lang dito sa garden and I ate my breakfast narin before I went back to my room.
I just showered and do my routine before ako umalis.
"Let's go na po." I said sa driver namin at sumakay na ako dala yung isang case na pinadala ni mom and I also bring my books and ipad.
We arrived to the HQ here in Mandaluyong.
Pag labas ko nagulat pa yung ibang staffs dito siguro dahil di nila inaasahan na nandito ako.
"Where is mom?"
"On her office po."
I nodded and went straigth to her office.
I knocked and pumasok na ako.
"Mom."
"Sirene, why are you here?"
"I just bring you this." I said at pinakita ko yung case na hawak ko.
May kasama siyang attorney alam kong lawyer yun dahil may nakita akong file na may case.
"This is Atty. Santos."
"Atty. this is my daughter Sirene."
"Hi Atty."
"Hello Sirene the future lawyer."
I smiled.
"Mom, I have to go. I will go to the Manila Polo Club lang."
"Sure take care of yourself."
"Yes I will. Excuse me Atty. Santos it's nice to see you here." I said.
"Same with you hija."
"Sirene." mom said and I saw on her eyes that she felt worried.
"Why mom?"
"Don't use social media muna." by that alam ko na yung meaning niya.
"Okay mom." I smiled.
Paglabas ko ng door I heard someone is having a chitchat sa isang room.
"Si atty. Santos yung kasama ni Atty. LAM?"
"Oo balita ko nga magfifile si atty. LAM ng lawsuit sa nag pakalat ng issue ngayon na adopted child si mam Sirene. Pinapahanap na niya sa ngayon."
