PART 9

Early in the morning after I ate my breakfast and fixed myself and went to the school.

"Thanks dad. I love you." I said before ako bumaba ng car dahil hinatid ako ni daddy.

"Take good care of yourself baba. Study well and enjoy okay. I love you." he said and kissed me on my forehead.

After I get down to the car I went straight to the classroom. My classmate are all busy to their own stuffs and we're all just waiting for our teacher.

"Today na daw sasabihin yung mga kasama sa honors and kung sinong magiging Valedictorian ng batch natin." I heard from my classmate.

"Sirene, I think you will be the valedictorian." Akira said nung tumabi siya sakin.

"Huh? why me? marami namang iba jan na deserving." I said.

"Bakit deserve mo din naman." she said.

"I don't need it basta complete family ko on our graduation okay na yun." I said.

"But it will be nice kung valedictorian ka. They will be proud of you." she said.

"They're all still proud of me even I don't have that kind of honor." I said.

"You're lucky." she said.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Dahil ako kailangan may honors para maging proud sila sakin." she sadly said.

"Aw no worries Aki I believe you will receive honorable mention and your parents will be proud of you. You're one of those dedicated students who deserve to received honors." I said while comforting her.

"Thanks Sirene." she said and our teacher came.

"Okay, so today I'll announce all of the honorees, as well as the batch Valedictorian." our teacher said.

Some of my classmates are all excited to hear their names and some naman ay chill lang like me. My teacher started to announce the names of honors.

"Akira Lopez with honor." our teacher said kaya napatingin naman ako kay Akira.

"You did it!" I gladly said.

"Thank you!" she said with teary eyed.

"Our Class Valedictorian will be... Feliza Sirene A. Marcos." my teacher said.

I was shocked when I heard my name. My other classmates are happy and they all congratulating me and some of them naman are parang di happy and they make irap pa to me. Pero di ko narin pinansin I didn't expect it but I'm happy of course because there is another reason why my parents should need to attend my graduation.

After the class the bell rang and it's our lunch break time na.

"Sirene, let's have our lunch na it's my treat because i have honor and you're the valedictorian!" Akira gladly said.

"Sure thanks Aki also congrats to you." I said.

"Likewise Sirene." she said.

Paglabas namin ng classroom may mga tumitingin sakin and yung iba they congratulating me siguro alam na nila na I'm the class valedictorian to our batch. Hanggang sa pag dating namin sa cafeteria ganun pa din approach nila sakin.
