A few weeks ago
The remaining group of the campers were currently at the Jurassic World park. They lose two of their own to pteranodons and they didn't even make it off the island.
Kenji grabbed a hat that was on display. He looked down at it with a small sad smile then put it onto his head. He also grabbed a pair of sunglasses and put them into Ben's pouch that he wrapped around his waist.
Connor turned to him with a backpack in his hands. "I found this so you can stop looking like an idiot who runs around with one shoe in their hand."
"It's the only thing I have of her." Kenji looked down at the boot that he held by the laces. He then put the shoe in the backpack, closing it.
That boot was also one of Violet's favorites and they were deadly expensive. She'd be very pissed if he just threw it away after leaving her alone in the jungle with only one shoe.
Connor saw the discreet gloomy look on his face. "Kenji, I'm sure she's out there somewhere, finding some way to ride a dinosaur. She was in boot camp, right? Which means she should at least know some kind of survival."
"If she's still alive?" Brooklynn walked into the shop the two were in. "Let's face it, that fall is not survivable."
Kenji quickly spoke, sure of himself, "They are both alive. I'm going to find some nasty healthy snacks for Ben."
"Then there were two," Connor spoke out loud. "You don't think they're still alive?"
Brooklynn pointed the camera at him that she had just found. "I hope they are but you know Violet, she was never big on hope...It feels so weird without her here, she was one of the girls. And then Ben and Bumpy are both gone too."
"I know what you mean." Connor tried to make her not panic. "We only argued with each other because we didn't actually get offended. She could handle my attitude. One time, I said something very mean to Ben and he almost cried."
Brooklynn chuckled. Then her brows furrowed at the camera, zooming it closer to Connor then she looked up, "Oh my god, how have I never noticed?" She smiled, "Little Conny has streaks of pink dyed in his hair."
"Don't call me that." Connor groaned as he put his hand on the camera, forcing it to point elsewhere. "It was just a phase I had."
"That reminds me..." Brooklynn chuckled as she closed the camera, "You and Violet, didn't you two...like used to hate each other?"
Connor smiled, "Yeah but it was dumb. I think we started to be less serious since the whole struck by lightning situation."
"Well, we had just made up." Yasmina cut in, now walking into the shop from overhearing their conversation. "Or...trying to."
