To Violet's eyes, the area that they were walking in looked about as similar to all the other trees they passed. Though this area had trees that weren't as tall compared to when she got stuck on one. She stood there beside the others with her hands in her jacket pockets.
Everyone noticed that Ben was much behind them and not with them as a group. They all watched him, seeing that his back was turned as he dragged the same dinosaur that they had encountered, Bumpy.
Now that Ben had caught up with them, Yasmina loudly cleared her throat to get his attention.
"Oh!" Ben stood up straight, letting go of Bumpy. He quickly shoved her back into the bushes. Ben crossed his arms with a friendly smile, looking at them. "Hey. How's it hangin'...dudes?" He sent them all finger guns.
Darius stared forward at the kid. "Ben, are you hiding Bumpy in that bush?" His question was answered as sounds were bellowed out from that very bush.
Ben glanced down at the bush. "Nope. That could be anything. The jungle makes all sorts of weird noises." As if on cue, Bumpy ran out of the bush, knocking Ben over with a happy jump. "How did she get here?" He looked at them, trying to act clueless.
"We don't have time for this!" Yasmina pointed at Ben and his dinosaur. "There are dinosaurs eating people out here, and Bumpy can't keep up!"
Violet walked past Yasmina, looking at her as she made her way to Ben. "How can you be so mean to cute little Bumpy? I've heard so much about you." Her voice sounded as if she were talking to a puppy or a baby. This received a scoff from Yasmina's mouth.
When Ben and the others were at the lab they exchanged stories with the ones who had to clean up dino-poop.
The dinosaur in front of Ben turned around with its tail slightly moving around as Violet walked closer to kneel in front of her.
"As cute as she may be, she'll get us killed." Connor stood beside the group, agreeing with their decision to not keep Bumpy with them.
Violet's smile faded as she turned to look back at the group from seeing their faces. She turned back to Ben with a serious look as she patted Bumpy. Her eyes softened from seeing Ben's face of betrayal.
Violet glanced down at Bumpy then turned to the rest of them. "I mean, c'mon-" She motioned a hand at Bumpy. "She's all alone on a huge island-I know she might attract unwanted attention but abandoning her-" Violet glanced back down at Bumpy whose face looked excited. "I don't like abandoning people."
