After they were able to get that advertisement sound up they were immediately able to get the microphone working. Now they could communicate but Tiff and Mitch also had connection to the power, trying to find the location of the water hole.
Kenji cleared his throat near the microphone, "Testing. Testing. Party People! What, what?" The group of kids all watched Darius talk to Sammy and something about it.
Connor took the mic from Kenji, moving it towards him, "Connor here and I actually have nothing to say but glad that you're still alive."
"Hello, humans. It is I, your leader." Kenji continued to talk into the mic, sounding like a robot. He stood in between Brooklynn and Connor.
"We found a backup generator and turned the power on!" Brooklynn had pushed him off the mic. "We can't hear you." She told them. "What are you trying to say?" They still were able to hear the others so the three tried to act it out.
They could see Sammy and Darius talking amongst themselves but they couldn't hear at first.
Ben started to speak through the speaker after the audio started working, "We got your back, Darius! Forget the boat. Mitch and Tiff are going down!"
"They're gonna pay," Connor spoke to himself and not into the mic.
Violet sat beside Ben, taking the speaker as she leaned forward. "Just don't do anything I wouldn't do."
Yasmina immediately glanced at her, which made Violet lean toward the speaker again.
"Don't do anything dumb that'll get you killed." Violet slowly turned to Yasmina with a smile along with a thumbs up.
Yasmina put her hand on her forehead with a look of disappointment.
"You're alive!?" They heard the two kids scream.
Ben spoke through the speaker again, seeing the looks on Darius and Sammy's faces. "Oh, right! You didn't know. Yeah, we're both alive. Also, we found the sound button, so we can hear you."
"And he defeated Toro," Violet spoke again with her finger on the button, sending Ben a smile.
Ben clicked it again. "Bumpy says hi." Not getting a response back from the two, Ben looked at Violet. "I think we broke them."
Standing beside Violet, Yasmina put one hand on Violet's shoulder as she leaned down towards the mic. "Yeah, they're alive. We're very happy about it."
Violet stood there, gazing at the girl in admiration.
