Dave had helped them out of the enclosure which resulted in him having to vomit. It was a raptor enclosure and just him having to be in there with them was enough for his stomach to twirl.
"Are you hurt?" Roxie ran to them all with her attention on Dave. Worried for his sake as her hand held onto his shoulder, making sure he wasn't hurt by the raptor.
There was a distinct laugh coming closer to the group, "You should thank me, really." Connor approached them all with a smile while looking at the kids who were in the enclosure with the raptor. "Ibasically just saved your lives."
Roxie put a hand up and turned to look at him. "Why are you smiling? You're in trouble too." That had made Violet grow a smile while looking at Connor.
Connor quickly looked between Dave and Roxie with his smile gone, not understanding why he was in trouble. "What? I was the one who told you that they all snuck out!" His hand raised at the kids while raising his voice at Roxie.
"Connor." Dave raised his voice as he shook his head. "You do not raise your voice at her. Apologize."
Connor shut his mouth with a loud exhale but still had an angered look in his eyes. "I am sorry for raising my voice." He slowly apologized as he glanced at Roxie and then at Dave.
Roxie still had her eyes on Connor. "Now, when you told us, was it before or after you stuck out to follow them?" She had collected intel from a camper, whose name will be disclosed. This camper happened to see a few kids sneaking out and that camper suspected Connor had snuck out of the cabin. Of course, the camper didn't say anything until the commotion rose.
Dave had his hand over his chest, still trying to breathe. He looked over at his brother. "Connor, is that true?"
Connor looked down at the dirt, not answering the question.
Violet crossed her arms together, looking at Connor while trying to hide the big smile that she so desperately wanted to flaunt. She spoke in a low voice, "If you wanted to be friends with us you could have just asked nicely."
While everyone was talking Kenji tried to sneak past Dave and Roxie.
"Woah, Woah, Woah. Where do you think you're going? You all are in big trouble." Roxie quickly grabbed a hold of Kenji's shoulders. She then turned to look at Violet, shaking her head. "And you, Violet Myers, I'm not surprised to see you with this bunch. What would your parents think?"
