"How did it turn out like this?" you asked yourself as you stood on the sidewalk with your luggage, staring at the busy road.
You just got evicted from your apartment and from your job at the same time.
You took your phone and called your best friend, Elizabeta.
"Lizzy, I got evicted and lost my job and I need you to cover me until I am on my feet," you said as soon as she picked up.
"Hello to you too," she replied, "And yes, you can come on over. You have my key already,"
"Thanks! I'll take you out to eat as a treat as soon as I get a new job and my first salary!"
"Yes, yes,"
The call ended and you made a beeline to Elizabeta's apartment. She was out working, so you made yourself comfortable in her guest room. When Elizabeta came back in the evening, the discussion over your job and and eviction started.
"I can help you find a job," she said as both of you were at her dining table, drinking some tea.
"You're a life saver!" you cried.
Elizabeta smiled, "There's actually a vacancy for a secretarial position for the CEO at the company I work. They've not put out any notices for it yet, but since I'm the very good friend of the CEO, I'm one of the few who got the news, and I can put in a good word for you,"
