Leo
My eyes adjust to the light as I open them and I decide that this morning I am going on an adventure. The two girls are asleep and the one that hurt her leg is snoring! I jump over them both, careful not to wake them and slink out of the tepee. My heart pounding I run through the trees leaping and turning. This is so much fun! I see a rabbit a bolt after it. His tiny legs move fast too, but mine are quicker. I reach it and grab it in my mouth panting. I caught lunch!
I see a butterfly and leap after it trying to clasp it in my paws. No luck, if flutters off.

I use my smell and make my down to the river, looking out for crocodiles. It's warming up this morning as the burning sun makes its way through the trees into the jungle.
I decide to go for a swim so I choose a big rock and leap into the river, the splashes loud and the water cold. I hear a voice and start paddling towards the shore again, curious. I think it's the girl named Chloe. The current picks up in the river taking me further down the river so I hold onto a big twig sticking out of the bank. Chloe appears and bursts into laughter. It's not funny!

Chloe
I start laughing as I spot Leo. He is in the river holding onto a stick to stop him floating away. His fur is sticking down and he looks like he has gained a bit of weight since I found him. "Are you coming out Leo?" I call down to him and his ears prick up excitedly. He carefully starts slowly walking up the stick but just before he reaches the land he falls in. I drop to my knees and burst out laughing again. I sit up and see an angry lion cub stalking towards me. Leo isn't very happy! I pick him up quite glad of the refreshing wetness, it's getting white warm out here today. I dry him with my sleeve and we run back to the tepee. Lucy is up and had found two long sticks to use as crutches. "Hey Lucy! Look who I found in the river!" I call out to her and she laughs.
"Did you fall in Leo?"

Lucy
I sit down against a tree and use the pocket knife to gently smooth over the top of my make do crutches. Now they won't hurt as much when I hop about. My leg doesn't hurt much any more. I think Chloe would make an awesome doctor. I start thinking about how and when we would get out of this jungle. Would our parents be worrying? They wouldn't be able to contact us on Skype. Maybe the would have called for help. I call out to Chloe, " Do you think our parents will be worrying?"
"Well maybe, they could be thinking that we just want some independence for a few days. It's only been 4 days I since we Skyped them back at the apartment. Maybe in a few days they will call for help. " Chloe says.
"Yeah, it's quite fun living in the jungle though. Scary sometimes! I think I'm ready to be rescued!" I sit back again, glad that I've gotten that thought out of my brain.
"I'm going to get some lunch, I'll take Leo if that's okay with you." Chloe says.
"Yeah that's fine. " I hop over to the fire and start laying some sticks down, I light the fire and get it ready for our lunch.
Chloe and Leo come back with 3 rabbits, one for each of us. I'm very hungry so I'm glad!
Cooked over the fire, roasted gently, rabbit has become my favourite meal.
