International news
Chloe Jensen and Lucy Benton, the two missing girls have been found. Suffering fatal injuries and damage they are both undergoing surgery and will not be released from the Royal Children's Hospital for at least 2 weeks. They were found on Tuesday the 17th, and flown out from the jungle in Johannesburg by an emergency helicopter. The parents are all overwhelmed that the girls have been found and hope that they recover fully.

Journalist - a bit earlier ( Chloe and Lucy still in helicopter)
As soon as I hear that the girls have been found I rush over to the hospital, hoping to catch sight of them. I see the helicopter landing and grab my camera. The girls are wheeled out in a hurry. Zooming in I catch sight of one, she looks dreadful. I hope they're alright. I feel someone grab my shoulder and I'm pushed aside. More media has come and I'm not alone anymore. There is the usual hustle and bustle with the crowd.

Surgeon
I've finished with Chloe for now. I think she'll be okay but she will need to be constantly watched in case she comes back to consciousness.
Time to let the parents know. They are in the waiting room. I take my gloves of and wash my hands. Out in the waiting room I see them. "Mr and Mrs Jensen?" I say wondering which two will come. They stand up and come over. "Sandra and Aidan." Aidan introduces them. I shake their hands. I take them into a room nearby. "How is she?" Sandra asks.
"She's alive." I see the relief in their faces. "She is still unconscious and will be taken care of. She has a few broken ribs that are pressing into her lungs making it difficult for her to breath. We can't fix broken ribs, so what we will have done is put her on a breathing machine. This will help her breath until her ribs, in time, will fix themselves."
"How long will that be?" Aidan asks.
"All cases are different, I'm guessing around 1-2 months. She will have to stay in hospital for at least a month, after that we will see how she is and if she can breathe on her own. She also has pneumonia, which isn't helping her lungs and a broken leg and a shattered arm. These will all heal with time. " they look shocked and I gesture for them to sit. "When will we get to see her?" Sandra asks.
"You can have a look now if you'd like. " I say, hoping they won't get to emotional.

Sandra
We walk into room number 43 and see Chloe. I start crying and hold onto Aidan. My dear Chloe. I'm so glad she is back. I just hope she will recover. She has tubes connected to her face and in her nose and mouth I guess these are to help her breath. Her leg is plastered and her arm hasn't been fixed yet. "How long will she be unconscious for?" I ask the Surgeon. "It is hard to tell. The medicine and drugs we have given her, should help her, but she might not awaken for another at least 3 weeks." The news is a shock to me. I sit down in a chair nearby. This is all to much; my daughter going to Africa, then reported missing, after two weeks found, finally arrived home but unconscious and unable to breath. I start to cry and Aidan comes and hugs me. "It will be alright. " He says into my ear. He sounds so reassuring but will everything be alright?
