Police officer
We crowd around the jeep, searching for clues when I hear a rustle. I spin around quickly and see a dark shape slowly creeping out of the bushes. It's a boy. He looks native and he has. Wait. I can't believe what I'm seeing. He has a big lion cub in his arms! He looks up shyly and sees me. I can tell he is scared so I kneel down and beckon him over. "Guys," I say, "I think he needs to tell us something." The men all turn around and stare. They stay still though and let me do the work. "Hey mate, are you okay?" I say gently. His legs are shaking and he is really nervous. "My fr-fr-friends aren't." He says. It suddenly clicks. He could have made friends with the missing girls, Chloe and Lucy. "What are their names?" I question.
"Chloe and Lucy, they are really sick. " he says more confidently now.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you. Can you lead us to them please? We will help them." The others get ready to follow, grabbing the first aid kit and putting on their backpacks. "What's your name?" My mate asks.
"Juki." He says, turning around, obviously ready to go. I can tell he is worried for his friends. He runs through the bush, the lion cub, now on the ground, running beside him. We sprint after him, eager to find the missing girls. We pass a big dam and run through the jungle. I see an elephant and two lions. After about 10 minutes of running we reach the girls. They look almost dead. I ring 000 as soon as I see them and ask for an air ambulance. These girls need serious help.
John, our first aid man starts helping Chloe, and Ben runs over to Lucy. They are both drifting in and out of unconsciousness. Chloe is lying awkwardly lying up against a tree, her body seems half crushed. I go over and feel for her pulse and breath a sigh of relief. It's still there. Just.
Lucy on the other hand, is not so bad. Her leg looks really strange though, twisted.
I hear the wind pick up and the leaves of the trees blow around crazily. It must be the helicopter. I soon see it land in a clearing not to far away and two men run over with stretchers. We roll the girls onto them carefully and carry them to the helicopter.

Molly Works for Channel 7 as a camera women.
We reach the two girls and I stare. They look terrible. Usually at scenes where there is injured workmen or car accidents, I film what I have to, and try not to get emotional, but this is different. These girls are only 15. Tears run down my cheeks but I carry on. I turn the camera on and zoom in. The helicopter arrives and the girls are rushed out. I hope there okay.

Sandra- Chloe's mum.
*ring ring ring ring*I feel sick as the phone rings, again. It's been ringing constantly for the past few weeks. I just want Chloe back home. No one is home, so I guess I'll have to get it. I run down the stairs, hoping I'm not too late. It will probably just be another friend giving us their wishes. "Hello Sandra speaking. " I say into the phone.
"Hello Sandra," A deep voice says. Do I know this guy? "My name is Jason, we have news on your daughter Chloe and her friend. "
I almost drop the phone. My eyes fill with tears, are they, alive? I put the phone to my ear. "Are you still there? Sandra, hello?"
"Yes, I'm hear." I say in a whisper.
"Lucy and Chloe have been found. They are alive but are both in a critical condition. Your daughter is a bit worse than Lucy though. They have been airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. The paramedics thought it would be suitable for them to be flow straight home. It will take a bit more than a full day for them to get to the hospital so they won't arrive until tomorrow night."
"Will they survive in the helicopter for that long?" I say worriedly.
"Yes. They paramedics have hooked them up to a drip and are monitoring them. They should be ok. "
"Thank you very much Jason. " I say. I am so happy they are alive but will they be alright?
