So this is actually one of my favourite books of all time in this app. The author (valenwriting) is amazing and her writing truly gets you addicted to the story. She has been one of my main inspirations.
So I just wanted to post a poem that I wrote after I read the book talking about the evolution of the main character

he had taken me broken
and slowly fixed me
like puzzle pieces coming together
im not a perfect puzzle
but im definitely happier
i am now able to trust
able to hug and to love
thanks to this wonderful man
that has built me
that has saved me
from myself and from the world
from the voices inside my head
from the need to escape
im not perfect
but im finally able to live for myself
