You and I [Joshleen]

The Note

~Colleen's POV~
The plane just landed, and I am back home. I took a deep breath and yawned, and boarded off the plane with my bags.

As I was waiting for my suit case at the luggage conveyor belt, I thought about Josh. That was the only thing in my mind. Josh. I wonder if he misses me right now. My suit case rolled out, and I called my parents to see if they could pick me up. A couple minutes later, they showed up outside.

"Hi honey! I missed you!" said my mom.

"I missed you too mom...can I tell you something?"

"Yes? You can tell me anything sweetie."

"I-I..." I was stuttering. I was nervous for my mother's reaction!

"What's the matter?"

"There's nothing wrong...it's just...I have a boyfriend now."

"Oh my..." I was staring at her nervously.

"Is it alright?"

"Honey, of course it is! I was just a little um, shocked I suppose." I hugged her and didn't say anything else. We both smiled at each other, and went home.

When we arrived, I collapsed on my bed. After a couple of minutes, I was finally settled in, so I started unpacking my bags and suit case. Inside of my suit case was a little note.

"Hey Colleen, I'm going to miss you so much! I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love you with all my heart and that I am so happy that we are a couple now. I am going to be singing on cruise ships now to earn more money and buy a plane ticket to see you. But for now, I'll see you on video calls at least. Love you ♡

I almost cried reading that. I wanted to see him again really badly. I took out my laptop and had a Skype call with him. We ended up talking until midnight.
