The Tour

~Colleen's POV~

I was happy again to be with Josh. Things turned back to normal, and I was glad. But, Josh still needed to go on his tour with The Cat's Pajamas acapella group.

We agreed that I didn't have to come with him, but I could visit him halfway through the world tour. Right now, we were snuggling together on the couch and watching YouTube videos.

"I'm going to miss you, Colleen, when I have to leave for a year."

"I will too. It just never feels right without you!" And then we just stopped and stared into each other's eyes. I smiled at Josh, and he smiled back.

"I love you Fraggle."

"I love you too, Snoopy."

-One Month Later-

~Josh's POV~

The day that I had to leave for the tour finally came. I was really sad that I had to leave Colleen for a whole year! But then again, at least we're a couple again. Colleen decided to drive me to the airport. When we arrived, I kissed her cheek before I left.

"I'm going to miss you. But promise me that you'll call me everyday and keep in touch."

"Of course I will Joshua! Of course..." We kissed for a moment, and then I got out of the car. Before walking into the airport, I waved goodbye to Colleen.

~Colleen's POV~

I had one last glimpse of Josh, then he was gone inside of the airport. I sighed. This year would be really long. I drove away in sorrow. I know I would be visiting Josh still, but that's in a long time. When I got back to the apartment, it was lonely. Without Josh, it's just too quiet. I sat down at the table and decided to edit a video for my channel. It was the boyfriend/girlfriend tag with Josh. I swear, I was going to start crying all over again. I picked up my phone and called him.

"Hey baby."

"Hi Colleen. What's the matter?"

"I miss you."

"I miss you too. But please pull through. Besides, if I wasn't able to join the group, it's kind of hard to earn money for both of us."

"Yeah, I guess. Are you on the plane right now?"

"Mmhmm. I have to go now."

"Okay. Love you."

"I love you too Colleen. I'll call you back later at the hotel."

"Bye." Later that day, Rachel called me and asked me if she could come over so that we could plan the next Miranda show. I heard knocking at the door. There was Rachel in the doorway. But it wasn't just her; she brought Matt, her boyfriend, with her. Matt was a really shy person, but we didn't really mind.

Rachel and I ended up working until midnight. Matt had already left earlier, and was going to come back for Rachel when we were finished. But I figured that it was really late, so we called him and told him that Rachel was going to spend the night at my place. We sat at the couch for a while just to relax before bed. We were watching a reality show on the TV.

"So um...where's Josh anyway?"

"He's uh...in Arizona..."

"What! Why?"

"He's part of this acapella group and he went on tour with them."

"Oh. But he'll be back soon, right?"

"No, Rachel. The tour is a year long..." And then there was just awkward silence. But I broke it because I started crying. Rachel hugged me, trying to soothe me. I just couldn't stop. It's hard not having Josh in my life for a year. He's on my mind every single second now!
