Visiting Joshua

~Colleen's POV~

It has been four months into the year and Josh's tour with The Cat's Pajamas. I was packing up my suitcase because my flight to New York was tomorrow. That was where Josh was performing at. I made sure to pack a couple of gifts for Josh: A box with new high tops and a gift card to Starbucks. I also packed in other essentials, like clothes, toothbrush, etc. I was super excited!

-The Next Day-

Rachel had to go to a meeting today at the YouTube Space, so she decided to drive me to the airport because her meeting was on the way. I was so excited, that I kept on telling Rachel and I was speaking faster than ever!

"Woah Colleen! Calm down! You will see Josh again in a couple of hours!"

"I'm sorry, but do you know how hard it is to not be able to see your significant other for like....A YEAR?!"

"Okay, okay! Sorry..." Oops, I think I sounded really mean and rude.

"I'm sorry too..."

"Wait what? Why'd you apologize?"

"I thought I just sounded really rude."

"Nah, it's fine. You're my sister; I'm used to it!" I punched her playfully in the shoulder. We ended up laughing and I starting yapping about Josh again for the rest of the car ride.

~Josh's POV~

Today was when Colleen would come visit me. But I had a surprise for her. I was going to tell her that the group told me that I could go back home with Colleen. Turns out that they still have a backup member, so I could even drop out of The Cat's Pajamas if I wanted to.

Earlier that morning, I went to the shopping center. I don't usually do that unless it's for Colleen. I went to the jewelery store and bought her a charm bracelet. There was one charm on it that was bigger than the beads, and on it was "C + J". I already knew that she would love it. If she loved that I got her a necklace, Colleen would love this bracelet too.

-3 Hours Later-

I drove my rental car all the way to the airport and waited outside for Colleen to come. I texted her and she said that she was waiting at the baggage claim.

~Colleen's POV~

I was legit just panicking inside of the airport. They had lost my suitcase and I didn't know what to do! I didn't tell Josh so that he wouldn't be worried.

"Um, excuse me. Are you Colleen Ballinger?" A woman in a uniform walked up to me. She probably worked here.

"Uh, yes."

"Well your suitcase-"

"Did you get it?!"

"Uh...yes." And then she rolled it in.

"Thank you so much! You are a life saver!" And then I ran out before she could say anything else. Just as I expected, Josh was waiting outside. I kept on running all the way to the car. I quickly put the suitcase into the trunk, and then got into the passenger seat. I kissed Josh for like a whole minute. We stopped because someone honked their car behind us. "Well excuse you..." Josh muttered under his breath. We both laughed, and Josh drove away to his hotel room.

"Hey babe. I missed you so much!"

"I did too. I've been counting down the days until I could see you again!"

"Same here. I love you so much Colleen."

"I love you more Snoopy." I leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I had butterflies in my stomach, but they weren't because I was nervous, but because I was still excited to be with Joshua for a couple of days.

~Josh's POV~

I wanted to just be at the hotel right away and just have some private time with Colleen! Five minutes later, we finally arrived. When we got into the room, Colleen collapsed on the bed. I jumped on the bed right next to her and tickled her. She hates being tickled, but she didn't even care right now. "I have something for you." We had spoken at the same time.

"You go first." I said.

"No you!"

"You go!"

"Fine, I'll go first!" We laughed at each other. Colleen opened up her suitcase and brought out a shoe box.

"No! You did not!"

"Open it!" She was really excited for me to open it. I flipped open the lid, and inside was a pair of red high tops.

"You didn't!"

"Do you like them?" I looked at Colleen and she had a sparkle in her eyes. She's so cute. I took out one of the shoes, and underneath was a little card. It was a Starbucks gift card. I had no words, so I just hugged Colleen really tightly. We embraced each other for a little while.

"Thank you so much babe!" She smiled at me really sweetly. I kissed her again. "You're welcome Josh!"

"Ready for your surprise now, Colleen?"

"Of course!"

"Sit down on the bed and close your eyes." She shut her eyes tightly and was smiling. I went over to the desk in the hotel room, and lifted up a random book. I was hiding my plane ticket underneath the book. I brought the sheet of paper over to Colleen.

"Give me one of your hands." She stuck out her hand, her palm facing up, waiting eagerly for what was about to happen.

~Colleen's POV~

Josh placed a paper in the palm of my hand. Wait, paper? Why would he give me a random sheet of paper?

I opened my eyes and looked at the paper that Josh gave me. I put my hand over my mouth. Josh got a plane ticket to come back with me home! I jumped up immediately and gave Josh a hug. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him so many times. I was so happy that he was coming home! But wait...what about the tour?

"Baby?"

"Yes? What's the matter?"

"So...you're coming home, right?"

"Yeah! Aren't you excited?"

"Well of course I am! But what about the rest of The Cat's Pajamas tour?"

"The group had noticed how much I would always call you, saying how much I missed you. And, they had a backup member, so if I had even quit, they would always have that member to replace my spot."

"Oh. I was just a little confused, that's all." I smiled at him innocently, and Josh brought me back into a hug again. My boyfriend was going to be able to come live with me again, and it was wonderful!

"Colleen, I have one more surprise for you!"

"Oh, you didn't have to! Just telling me that you are coming home is enough!"

"Close your eyes!" I shut my eyes tightly again, and waited patiently. Josh took one of my hands and placed a little box on my palm this time. I opened my eyes again and took the lid off of the box. There was a little charm bracelet sitting inside. It had a big charm that had "C + J" on it. I put my hand on my heart. First Joshua gives me a necklace, and now a bracelet!

"It's too much!"

"I love you, Colleen."

"I love you too, Josh." He sat down on the bed and leaned over to give me a kiss on the cheek. He's the best (and only) boyfriend I have ever had!
