Julien & Arnold

~Josh's POV~

Now that I think about it, it's been a long time since I've talked to my friend Arnold Telagaarta. I went on my phone and went to his contact, then called him.

"Hey Arnold. We haven't talked in a while!"

"Yeah dude! We should hangout sometime."

"Yup. Wanna come over to my new house? I just moved in yesterday!"

"Totally! I'll come right now, text me your address. I'll ask if Heart wants to come too!"

"Okay, see you then!" I ended the call, texted him my new address, then got up from the couch to make a sandwich for lunch. An hour later, there was a knock on the door. I got up from editing my vlog to open it. As expected, there was Arnold and Heart. But there was another person who seemed oddly familiar.

"Hey Arnold! Long time no see!" I gave him a friendly hug and did the same to Heart.

"I haven't seen you in person in such a long time! How long has it been?"

"I think a couple of months." I said.

"Where's Colleen?" Asked Heart. Colleen probably heard us, so she came out of the Miranda room, smiling, and walked to the door and stood next to me.

"Hi guys!" Heart and Colleen hugged for a bit.

"So um, who did you bring with you?" I asked, feeling a bit awkward.

"Oh, this is Julien." Now I remembered who he was; I watch Jenna Marble's videos and this is her boyfriend!

"Oh, hello. I'm Josh Evans." I put out my hand and he shook it.

"Hi, I'm Julien Solomita." He grinned at me.

"You know, we should go inside." I chuckled, then we all sat down in the living room. Colleen and Heart didn't though because Colleen wanted to give her a house tour. Arnold and Julien sat on the couch across from me.

"Um...you're Jenna Marble's boyfriend, right? I thought I saw you in a couple videos." I smiled a little awkwardly.

"Yeah! Arnold told me a bit about you in the car. Apparently you have a YouTube channel?" I nodded.

"Yup, it's called 'JoshuaDTV'."

- 3 Hours Later -

None of us even realized how long it's been. But we didn't care.

"Wouldn't it be cool if we had a boy band?" Said Arnold, jokingly.

"That would be interesting!" Said Julien, laughing.

"You know, we could actually do that! I mean, if Colleen can do one-woman Miranda shows, then we could probably make a group and have shows too!" I said. And I was dead serious about it. Arnold and Julien both nodded at me.

"What if our group was called 'The Shadows'?" Said Julien.

"Yeah, and the meaning behind the name could be that we're stepping out of the shadows of our girlfriends." Said Arnold.

"I didn't even think of that!" I said. Wow, Arnold can really think out of the box, unlike me.

All three of us continued to talk about "The Shadows" until Arnold, Heart, and Julien had to leave. It was nighttime by then. We had our goodbyes, then Colleen and I went to change.

"Babe, we should both dress in onesies!"

"I don't know Colleen..."

"Oh, come on! It'll be fun!" She was begging me to wear my onesie. Of course, I couldn't say no.

"Fine." Colleen smiled at me, then she put on her Minnie Mouse onesie and I put on my Mickey Mouse one. The two of us watched Netflix for the night while cuddling, and then we decided to head off to bed after finishing watching a whole season of Survivor.

After a couple of minutes in bed, Colleen was fast asleep. But I couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard I tried. I kept on thinking about the conversation I had about starting The Shadows with Julien and Arnold.
