Moving Into the New House

- 2 Months Later -

~Colleen's POV~

Well, tomorrow was moving day. It was official; we now own the new home that we saw two months ago. I was excited! But of course, that also meant leaving the apartment.

I snuggled in closer to Joshua. We were sitting on the floor in the empty living room. All of the furniture had been already taken to the new house, except for our bed. We would take the bed to the house tomorrow.

"I'm certainly going to miss this place very much." I laid my head on Josh's chest. He twirled my hair around his finger.

"I will too, sweetheart. I will too." We both sighed, thinking about the first time that we moved in. Josh went on the YouTube app on his phone, then found the video that he uploaded a couple of years ago on the first day that we moved in. I smiled at Josh, remembering when he filmed this. He smiled back, then kissed my forehead. I yawned.

"I'm tired, so I'm heading to bed. You coming?" He nodded, then got up. He picked me up and carried me to the bed. We both collapsed and cuddled until we fell asleep.

- The Next Morning -

~Josh's POV~

I woke up before Colleen, but this time, I woke her up. I hate doing this, but we had to get up early today. Besides, we're moving to the new house today! I shook Colleen's shoulders lightly.

"Hmm?" Colleen mumbled, not even opening her eyes yet.

"Good morning Fraggle." I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Morning Snoopy." She slowly got up and out of bed and stretched.

"Did you have a good night's sleep?"

"Mmhmm. I'm going to go freshen up." I nodded and followed her to the bathroom to brush my teeth, change clothes, then do my hair. After ten minutes, I was ready for the day and I patiently waited in the empty living room for Colleen. She came out with her hair nicely curled.

"You look beautiful today!" She blushed and I pulled her in for a hug. I vlogged a little clip of the apartment, then Rachel came. She was going to help us take the bed out to the truck that we rented outside to take the bed to our house.

Before driving away, we had one last glimpse of the apartment building. Colleen waved at it, then we drove away quietly. We started singing to Taylor Swift on the radio to lighten up the mood.

Once we arrived, we brought the bed inside to the master bedroom, and then Rachel did us a favor by driving the truck back. We thanked her and had a mini goodbye.

Colleen and I walked around the house for a bit, trying to get familiar with it. Afterwards, we opened up a couple of boxes and unpacked for about two hours. I vlogged a bit. We managed to set up the living room, kitchen, and the bedroom. We were too tired to finish the rest, so we sat down on our couch and snuggled for a bit while watching some YouTube videos until it was 11:00 PM. I closed out the vlog, and then I realized that Colleen had fallen asleep on me. I carefully carried her to the bedroom and laid her down on the bed softly. I brushed my teeth and changed clothes, then I went to bed next to her. I really can't wait to see what comes next in our future.
