Christmas Time

~Colleen's POV~

It was December 12th, and Josh and I were planning to go Christmas shopping for both of our families. We were going to go to my parents' house for Christmas, so Josh was going to mail his gifts to Georgia for his family.

I took my purse, and waited downstairs for Josh to come down so that we could go to the mall together. I scrolled through social media on my phone while waiting. Suddenly, I felt someone pull and grab me and lifted me up in the air. I screamed for a second and then I realized that it was just Josh.

"Oh my god, Josh!" I yelped, laughing while he was spinning me around. We were both laughing and he finally dropped me on the couch.

"Did I scare you?" Asked Josh sarcastically.

"You think?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"Are you ready to go?" He nodded, and then we walked out to the car, hand in hand.

When we arrived at the mall, we decided to split up. I went in one direction and Josh went the other.

~Josh's POV~

I went to the shoe store first because I wanted to get high tops for Colleen. Afterwards, I was going to other stores to get different gifts.

When I went into the shoe store, I went straight to the high tops aisle. But unfortunately, they were only for boys. I sighed, but then I found high tops for babies. I picked out a little red pair that kind of looked like mine. I bought them to give to Parker.

Later on (when I was finally not distracted by high tops anymore...), I went to the Godiva chocolate store. I bought a box of dark chocolate for Colleen because I know she loves chocolate. I also went to the jewelery store next door to get another charm for her charm bracelet that I had bought her months ago.

But as soon as I walked out the doors, I saw Colleen walk into the shoe store. I guess she was going to buy me a pair of high tops for Christmas!

~Colleen's POV~

Earlier, I saw Josh walking into the jewelry store. I was in the mood for pulling a "prank". I walked into the shoe store, watching Josh stare at me from the corner of my eye. I waited for him to go someplace else, then I quickly walked out. I was not even planning on getting him a pair of high tops.

I checked one last time to make sure that Josh was out of sight, then I went to the little kiosk that sold tickets for concerts in the California. I bought two tickets for Josh and I to go see a Justin Timberlake concert. Josh was a huge fan, so I wanted to give him a big surprise that he well deserved.

Afterwards, I continued shopping for the rest of my family. For Chris, I got him some utensils for his new barbecue grill. For Jessica, I got her painting supplies. For Bailey, Jacob, and Parker, I got them all each a new piece of clothing and a stuffed animal. For Rachel, I got her a new snapback hat and a sports jersey. For my mother, I bought her a necklace with a charm that looked like a little turtle. And lastly for my dad, I got him a matching sports jersey that looked like Rachel's.

I finally met back up with Josh at the food court two hours later. Both of my hands were full of bags. Josh had only one bag, which he had placed everything into. I gave him a kiss on the cheek, and then we went home to wrap up the presents.

I got out wrapping paper and brought one of the rolls to my office. Josh did the same, but he went to his own separate office so that we wouldn't see what we had gotten for each other.

The two of us finished wrapping all of the gifts after half an hour.

I went to the kitchen, and started making dinner. Josh brought his laptop, and was editing on the couch. Once I finished cooking, I brought the food over to the living room. Josh turned on the TV, and we ate dinner while watching Master Chef Jr.

"So, did you get presents for everybody?" Asked Josh.

"Yup!" I didn't mention what I bought, or else Josh may get suspicious.
