Staying With Colleen

~Josh's POV~

Even though I was showered with happiness, I still remember that I didn't have the money to afford a ticket back to New York.

I was laying in the bed with Colleen, watching videos with her. If I didn't tell her now, who knows when I would!

"Hey Colleen?"

She looked up from the laptop. "Hmm?"

"I...need to tell you something."

"What is it? You can tell me anything." She had a sweet smile on her face.

"Well...when I bought the plane ticket to fly here...I didn't realize that I forgot to buy one to fly back. I was going to, but it was just too expensive..." I sighed. She gave me a little hug.

"Well...I'm sure we can work something out. But for now, you're welcome to stay here with us." She smiled again and I smiled back. We had a little moment of just staring at each other and smiling. And then her sister walked in on us.

"...did I interrupt something?" And then she smirked at us. Colleen and I laughed at her.

"I've only known your sister for a couple of months!"

"Whatever. I think dinner's ready." She smirked at us again then left.

~Colleen's POV~

Before Josh and I went out of the room to eat dinner, I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you."

"I love you too Colleen. With all of my heart." My heart practically melted when he said that.

We both sat down next to each other at the dinner table. Josh talked about himself and his family. He even put his parents on the phone and we all talked to each other.

Then I nudged him and whispered to him, "You should tell them about how you can't afford to go back to New York." He nodded and we both told my family about that. They were totally cool with Joshua staying here for a while, and I was glad.
