Josh's First Ever Slap

~Josh's POV~

Uh oh, this isn't good. What was Beth doing here?

"Um...hey Bethany...what's up?"

"Hey sweetie, just came to visit you." She was smirking at me. Did she just call me 'sweetie'? I can't let this happen; I love Colleen, not Bethany! There must be a reason for this.

"So...how did you find my apartment?"

"Oh, there's a thing called the internet." Damn, what else does she know about me?

"Ah...I see. Well I'm just going to do my work now..." I slowly closed the door, but she pushed it back open.

"I want you to be my boyfriend again. I've missed you all these years honey. Besides, Colleen is a piece of trash; she's ugly and doesn't even care about you."

"Of course she loves me! We both love each other very much. Now leave or else I will call the cops on you!" But Bethany didn't even budge.

"Make me." She made a straight face as if she wasn't even bothered. I tried to shut the door on her but she just kept on pushing it back open.

"That is it!" I slapped her face. Oh my gosh, did I just do that? I have never truly slapped anyone before! I looked at her face, then at my hand. Her cheek was slowly turning red, and so was my hand. I guess that shut her up because Bethany stormed away in frustration. I immediately shut the door and locked it. I can't risk anymore of this.

"Um..." Oh, Colleen woke up.

"What just happened..."

"To be honest, I don't even know." I sighed and sat down next to her.

"So...I guess you saw all of that?"

"Yup...who is that girl?"

"Oh, she was my ex from high school, Bethany. I guess she was trying to win me back but that ain't happening." Colleen hugged me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Love you."

"I love you too Colleen. And don't you ever forget that."
