Lunch With Josh

~Josh's POV~
After seeing a therapist for a couple of weeks, I started to finally get over breaking up with Colleen. I also started to eat again, getting back to my normal weight. But this morning, I got a phone call. It was from Colleen.

"...um, hello?"

"Hey Josh. Um, I'm going to be in Los Angeles for today...would you like to have lunch together?" I could feel the awkwardness.

"Sure I guess."

"Okay, I'll be at The Cheesecake Factory at 12."

"See you then. Bye."
What did I get myself into this time? But hey, at least Colleen spoke to me.
Later that day, I changed out of my sweat pants and t-shirt, to a pair of jeans and my Be Nice To People shirt with my red high tops. I headed out to my car, and then drove to The Cheesecake Factory. When I arrived, I saw Colleen waiting outside on a bench. I waved to get her attention.

~Colleen's POV~
I saw Josh waving at me. I missed him. So much, that I just couldn't hold it in any longer. I ran over to him and gave him a hug.

"I am so sorry for ending our relationship! I should've known better, I'm really sorry Josh! Please...I love you..." A tear slipped out.

"Oh Colleen, you're the most beautiful and perfect girl ever. You have no reason to apologize. It was my fault for not agreeing with you." I nodded. And then we had a moment. We kissed each other passionately. I didn't even care if we were in public or not! And then we broke the kiss after a couple of minutes.

"Colleen Mae Ballinger...would you like to be my girlfriend again?"

"Yes, of course!" And then we hugged again. He kissed my cheek, and then we went to have lunch together. The day went on perfectly.
