I woke up to the bright sunlight which was odd I could have sworn I pulled the curtains but thought a little of it, I had slept so long most of the day was gone but a lot of that I imagine was the travelling and the being up not being able to sleep half the night, so I got ready for the cocktail party this afternoon getting into my little dress and doing my hair a little unsure of what to expect till there was a knock at my door as I was finished my make up

"It's open" I called to whoever was there and my door opened revealing Thomas in shined black shoes, black suit pants and a red silk shirt "ohh sorry was I running late?' I asked

"Not at all, I was merely checking up on you" he smirked

"Well I think I'm ready" I smiled

"You look gorgeous"

"Aww thank you" I blushed he offered his hand so I took it and he twirled my hand above my head so I did a spin

"Mesmerising." He says kissing my hand "come on I'll introduce you to everyone" he lead me down to a large drawing room with the doors open to a porch and the small garden where many people lingered with drinks he took me around and introduced me to all these people many of them family or family friends I admittedly felt a little out of place but they were all so kind to me. "So? Feeling alright so far?" Thomas asks as we had a seat together

"I think so, everyone's so kind"

"Why wouldn't we be kind to such a pretty girl?" He smirked "so tell me about our little welcome stranger" he smiled

"Not much to tell I suppose"

"Come on I want to know everything, what do you do? What is your passion? Friends? Family? Hobbies? Music? Blood type?" He joked making me laugh "come on I wanna know"

So I told him about me, my life, my work, my hobbies, he seemed... so interested, hanging on my every word like a curious child until I was done.

"Humm, your fascinating" he cooes "I am incredibly lucky that such a random chance allowed me to meet someone as magical as you" he smiled

"I'm very thankful it did, we might never have met otherwise"

"We wouldn't, and I wouldn't change this meeting for anything" he smiled giving my hand another kiss

"Well can I know about you?"

"Not much to tell"

"I'm sure there is" I smiled and he smiled back telling me much the same things I told him it was so lovely to hear him speak so passionately about these things "you are equally fascinating Thomas"

"You're a sweetheart" he smiled

"Is it just the three of you?" I asked curiously

"Nowadays,"

"I'm sorry"

"It's alright, my mother got very very angry with him. He's not in the picture anyone"

"I see"

"It's getting late. I'll walk you back to your room make sure you don't get lost"

"Thank you Thomas" I smiled

He walked me back to my bedroom and we stood outside in the corridor for a moment "get some rest. Weddings tomorrow"

"Of course, I suppose you'll be very busy"

"I'll make time to see you, I promise" he smiled "well sleep well my sweet" be cooes kissing my hand and then my head making me blush hard

"You too Thomas" I blushed before scurrying into my room before I could make a fool of myself.
