I headed the door open and immediately my heart sank to my shoes as I turned to see him there in the doorway in his usual shoes, black suit pants and a black button down rolled to his elbows
"Hello darling" he smiled
"Stay away!" I yelled
The moment those words left my lips his smile dropped, his face reading of pure confusion"what?"
"Stay back! Just keep away from me" I demanded
He looked heartbroken, tears Welling up in his eyes as he took a step forward, his arm out in desperation but I moved away "darling. W-whatever is the matter?"
"Stay away from me. Please. Just -"
"Whatever I did I'm sorry. Please just tell me what's wrong I swear I'll fix it."
"You don't understand Thomas"
"You - you think I'm a monster. Don't you. You've discovered something and you think I'm a monster." He asked getting choked up "please my darling, I promise I won't hurt you. Just tell me what's wrong I beg of you. I can't bare to see you afraid of me" he says coming close holding me in his arms stroking my cheek
"No. I-"
"Please. Whatever it is you know you can tell me"
"You promise nothing bad will happen"
"Nothing at all my love"
"Okay" I nodded
He smiled and sat me on the edge of the bed "so what's troubling you?"
"You promise me you won't freak out"
"I promise"
"You won't turn into a big bat again?"
"I swear. I won't no need to worry" he reassured "so? What's the matter?"
"I'm on my period"
"What?"
"I'm on my period. Started this morning. I'm sorry I'll go stay in the guest room or stay away from you so-"
"Darling" he laughed "so what?"
"What?"
"It's going to happen darling it's fine not a problem. I'll make you a hot bottle and some tea" he smiled kissing my head
"Wait. Are you sure. I alm uncontrollably leaking blood out of me"
"Darling." He chuckled getting up Nd holding my hand "I love with two women don't you think this is something I understand happens. And yes I do… desire your blood above all else but I know your hurting it's alright I'll take care of you. You worried me I thought it was much worse"
"You did?"
"I did. Besides I already knew"
"How!"
"Vampire darling. I can't hear your heartbeat from anywhere in the house and also smell the blood in your veins from a mile away, you think I couldn't tell the moment I stepped in this room there's a puddle of blood between your legs?"
"I guess. Can't really hide stuff like this from you can I?"
"No. You can't. Besides I knew last night"
"How? How did you know before I did?"
"Hormones make you smell different. I can't actually tell the moment you become fertile because of your hormone changes. So I just worked on those. Well those and the fact the blood was inside you like last night by the time it worked it's way out this morning so yes I can tell. It's fine no trouble at all my darling. I'll tuck you in with a hot bottle some tea and a nice chocolate bar maybe we can cuddle up and watch a show okay?"
"Okay" I smiled giving him a cuddle nuzzling into his chest
"Awww no need to worry doesn't make a difference at all. And of course if there is anything I can do to make you feel better"
"Thank you Thomas"
"And I mean anything" he smirked kissing my head
"Anything?" I giggled
"Umm hum remember darling. Vampire. Likely one of the only men in the world that" he smirked pulling away a little to kiss down my jaw his hand moving from my cheek down my neck between my breasts down my stomach "doesn't care what week it it's" he smirked moving his hand down but I moved back
"Oh uhhh" I blushed hard
"If you'd like that?"
"I uhh I don't know"
"It's fine just a cuddle today?"
"Yeah I think so"
"Alright what did you want to watch while we cuddle?"
"Murder documentaries?"
"Perfect my darling, you get cosy I'll be back with your chocolate" he smiled giving me a kiss before heading downstairs
