I sipped my drink a little watching everyone in their beautiful suits and dresses dancing to the sweet songs.

"Y/n?"

"Yes, Thomas?"

"May I?" he smiled moving to stand in front of me offering his hand

"For what?"

"A dance my darling?"

"Ohh" I blushed "I can't dance."

"I'm sure you dance beautifully"

"I don't know any-"

"Then I'll lead the way, come on"

I blushed but took his hand gently letting him lead me to the dance floor he sat my hand on his shoulder keeping my other hand tightly in his other hand moved to my waist pulling me so barely an inch of us was apart so much I could feel his breath on my skin. He was slow and gentle trying to keep us in time with the music even if really he was just leading me pushing me around as I had no clue how to do it, but it was fun. after a minute or so I started to get into the rhythm and stopped stepping on his feet, so much so that we even did a little spin at times.

"Fast learner" he smirked

"Or you're a good teacher" I smiled

"Humm you flatter me darling" He smirked "You know, just a year ago he was a stranger to"

"who?"

"Oliver"

"He was?" I asked

"Umm. Aunt Lisa's wedding. We had two strangers there. Oliver was one of them. He and Ava hit it off and.... Rest his history I suppose"

"That's so sweet" I smiled

"Perhaps it'll be like that for you and me" he smirked moving me a little closer to him

"What?" I blushed hard loosing track of my steps due to the conversation at hand

"Hummm it's no secret I find you attractive y/n, and sweet, and fascinating. I haven't hidden my... affections towards you" he whispered

"I suppose not, but I mean we barely know each other"

"Nor did they. Do you deny your... intrigued?"

"Well" I blushed "I am"

"Do you deny you? Find me attractive?"

"I do" I blushed unable to help to look at my feet

"Then why do we need the pleasantries and formalities? I much prefer the straightforward approach. I like you. You like me. So Let's get married"

"Thomas I don't know what you've been drinking tonight but I think you've had enough" I laughed

"I'm kidding. Things take more time than that" he laughed "but I still really like you"

"I like you too" I smiled continuing to dance, While dancing I noticed his mother who seemed to be starring at us while sipping a large glass of red wine

"One last toast to the happy couple" A man spoke up so we went and got out drinks happily sending them off to their room for the evening and we sat back down,
