I sat in bed with my book pondering what I should really get up to today when the door opened I glanced up and saw Ava smiling at me

"Hey"

"Hey" I smiled back

"Where's my big brother?" 

"Cleaning his mess" I smiled

"Good. You wanna go to the spa with me?"

"Uhhh yeah sure" I smiled putting my book down and and following her as we went through the tunnels to the spa, we swam, we used the sauna, all the while chatting about things 

"Hopefully it should all go well next week" she says as we sat her having a glass of blood and I had some prosecco as we got little pedicures

"It should be good sorry about making you push it back"

"It's alright not your fault my brother had a freak out" she says "I've waited over six hundred years I can wait an extra couple of weeks" 

"You excited?"

"Of course. Finally Oliver will be one of us" she smiled "and I'm sure once that's all sorted you and Thomas will be beginning your own arrangements"

"I'm sure we will, he seems a little egar"

"You can't blame him, he's excited. Admittedly he may be a tad over egar but he must just really love you"

"Where you like this for Oliver?"

"Of course, not as crazy as my big brother but similar yes. I'm sure after Oliver's process we'll start getting it arrangemed" 

"What uhhh what exactly happens in the process?"

"He's not told you?"

"No, I think he wanted me to watch Oliver to understand but I really have no idea what's going to happen"

"What has my big brother told you?"

"He said the process hurts you into a vampire you have to be married and then after you mate for life"

"Just like Thomas not to explain the details." She sighed "you don't have to be married to go through the process, it's better if you are the connection is stronger, our parents weren't married when our father when thought the process probably why it only worked half way"

"What?"

"Our father. He wasn't full blood, only half. He broke off the process halfway, he was still immortal but aged much faster then us taking his true form almost killed him every time." She explained "but in the process you must sit inside a special chair we drain you almost completely of your human blood"

"Doesn't that hurt?"

"Yes. It does" she nods "you'll be weak hardly able to understand what's going on"

"Then you get the vampire blood Thomas told me that"

"Where do you think that blood comes from?"

"Well…. I don't know"

"Your lover. It's why its usually done after marriage you've already made vows to each other you have to have a love and a connection to supply your blood to them. Oliver will be drained and then I will supply him with my blood"

"Won't that hurt you?"

"Immeasurably yes." She nods "it will hurt as I am drained for him it will hurt him as vampire blood replaces his own and buy the end we will be bond together more then anything else on earth, our hearts will beat as one, we will feel each others pain and loss, if he was to die I would never be the same missing a part of me for all eternity. After the ceremony we will mate and be together for all of our infinite lives" she smiled "and I'm sure Thomas Will one day so the same for you" 

"Has it ever killed people?"

"Many times. You can die. You can not accept the blood. You can give up from the pain halfway like my father but if you survive you will have everything, infinite life, beauty that never ages, a body that will only change if you want It to, a true vampire form and all the scenes and advantages we have" she smiled "and I'll get my fun sister in law to hang out with" 

"You really think Thomas loves me that much to be willing to go through all that?"

"Trust me we've both watched enough processes in our lives, if he says he wants to do it for you then he must love you a hell of alot, as much as I love Oliver"
