I had to admit I was excited if a little nervous. But I had set rules for myself. Don't drink. Don't try to be flirty or funny. And the first sign of anything weird we get the hell out of there. I had been driving for what honestly felt like years at this point following the directions unsure what exactly to expect, but not this.

I turned the corner and was faced with a long country road surrounded by trees for almost a mile before it opened up revealing this large manor house half the grandeur of Buckingham palace but with much more grounds and details with impressive dark stone, twisted metal bars and gates, old fashioned diamond windows it looked like something from a goth girls dream. I pulled up where some other cars were grabbing my bag and climbing out in awe of this place.

"Who may I ask are you?" A man in a black suit asked as he came down from the steps at the front of the house

"Ohh y/n y/l/n. I uhh I'm here for the wedding. I am in the right place aren't I?"

"I don't believe so no miss," he says but a familiar voice spoke up

"Ohh leave her alone Martin." He says "I believe I know exactly who she is"

This Martin moved from the steps revealing there just shutting the door, a man. He was thin, lanky, with a face impossible to determine age. He had black riding boots with red suit pants tucked into them, a white and black slightly plaid shirt unbuttoned slightly, and a brown leather aviator's jacket seeming well worn.

For a moment honestly, I didn't know if I should be enamoured or terrified.

"Y/n y/l/n, humm your even more beautiful than I imagined" he smiled coming down the steps taking my hand and giving it a soft kiss "Thomas, we spoke on the phone"

"Of course yes sorry I didn't expect -"

"Expect what?" He smirked

"Well you to be so handsome"

"Aren't you a sweetheart" he cooes "Martin take care of her car, come on I'll show you around" he encouraged offering his hand

I nodded and happily took it, letting him lead me inside.
