SingleFather!CEO!Pietro x Nanny!Reader

I had never intended to nanny children for so long. It was supposed to be short term, a way to make ends meet. Then low and behold, Pietro Maximoff entered the scene with his three little angels. Although, I use the term angels loosely. Some days they make me want to rip my hair out.

Now I'm a live-in nanny and I've been working with the Maximoff family for three years. Mr. Maximoff is the single father of two precious girls and a sweet little boy.

Mr. Maximoffs wife left him a year after their youngest was born. Apparently their marriage had been on the edge for a while, she wasn't built for the life he was giving her. She had never planned on being a stay at home mother, much less a mother, and felt as if she was drowning.

She makes appearances on special occasions, visiting her children once or twice a year, never more than a day at time.

This is where I come in, their 'Nin' as they like to call me. Mr. Maximoff is a very busy man, that much can be expected when owning and running a company. I fill the gap the children's mother left. I make them three meals a day, wake them up in the morning, and get them ready for school. I help with homework, give life advice, and take them out to the park for the evening. I soothe their tears and make them soup when their sick. This way their father can come home from work and devote his entire attention to loving them.

His oldest two are the girls, Anya and Flora, ages 12 and 10. Anya looks just like her Aunt Wanda, with auburn hair that shines in the sun. Meanwhile Flora looks just like her father. She has the same dark wavy hair that sits on his head, only without the dyed silver hue. Her nose a carbon copy of his with the same cheek bones to support it.

Now, his youngest is a little boy named Victor, but he prefers to go by Vic. At 8 years old he is the spitting image of his mother. His hair is pitch black and his skin white as ivory. I'm always joking that he's a little vampire, his cheeks always going pink at the joke.

At this time, little Vic is considered Mr. Maximoffs 'problem child'. A phrase that tears my heart to pieces.

Mr. Maximoff loves his children dearly, he truly does. The problem comes from his own upbringing. His father was always a little tough on him, convinced it would make him stronger. A trait that seems to have carried into his own when raising children.

He treats his daughters like princesses, allowing them to bask in their fathers love. His son, however, does not receive the same treatment. Sometimes it seems like he treats him like a little adult, something an 8 year old can't understand. He tells him that while he's at work that he's the man of the house, that he's responsible for taking care of his sisters. Another thing Vic doesn't understand.

So here we sit at the dining room table, Mr. Maximoff lecturing his son over dinner.

"Don't roll your eyes at me!" He yelled as Vic stabbed at the green beans on his plate. "You can't imagine the disappointment I felt to be called out of work by your Nin to be told she's been called by the school because you started a fight!"

"He was annoying me, he kept calling me a ghost." The little boy scowled.

"You elbowed him in the nose, Vic!" His accent grew thicker with the sound of his voice.

The girls glanced at me with wide eyes, frowns set on their faces. They hated it when their father yelled. To be quite honest, I do too.

"Mr. Maximoff," I spoke softly, placing my hand on his arm, "I'm sure he didn't.."

"Nin, stay out of it," he interrupted, "You've clearly been too soft on the boy. Otherwise this wouldn't be happening."

My mouth gaped, it wasnt often that he took his anger out on me. Even rarer that he placed any blame on me. Silence filled the room, only the ticking of the clock echoing through the room.
