I stood outside of Loki's cell and continued to ignore his whining. Instead I wrote. Writing is one of my favorite pass times and guarding Loki is the best time to do it. He typically doesn't talk to me and if he does its something I can ignore.
Most people would be terrified at the thought of having to spend hours on end in the company of the former prince of Asgard. Honestly, I was too at first, but then I realized that he acted as the prince he was. Intimidating is something that he isn't, at least not to me.
So here I sit outside of his cell with my journal in hand. Last time I checked he was sitting in the corner and pouting, typical.
"What's so interesting about that book? You read it everyday." I heard his footsteps come closer to me. I didn't respond but just continued writing. "Oh, it's a journal." His voice was right behind me.
I stood up and did my hourly look around the cells to make sure none of the prisoners were causing any trouble. Just as Loki was about to interrupt my process another guard came down for shift change. Thank Odin, I don't have to see him for another two days.

I awoke immediately to people stampeding through the halls and everyone yelling at each other. I quickly threw myself out of bed and ran to the door. Guards were everywhere frantically running around and speaking to each other. I grabbed one of my friends by the arm and pulled him towards me.
"What's going on?" My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. A light sweat was on his forehead and his eyes were wide.
"Loki has escaped, put you uniform on. Everyone is searching, even maids." His voice was urgent and so I turned back into my room and rushed toward the wardrobe, but was suddenly stopped by a deep voice.
"You write so beautifully, your mind must be a terrible place." His melodic voice filled the air and sent shivers down my spine. I turned slowly to see him leaning against the wall with my journal in hand. "Tell me, (Y/n), is your mind a terrible place?"
"People are looking for you, Prince." My voice was steady as I stared the man in the eye. "I suggest you turn yourself in."
"No, I have a better idea. Would you like to hear it?" Something told me I didn't have a choice, and I know I can't fight him. "I think you're going to escape with me."
Before I could scream his hand shot over my mouth and he pushed me against the wardrobe.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." His breath hit my ear. Slowly our surroundings started to change.
"Where are we?" I asked curiously. We seemed to be on another planet entirely. I had never seen a place like this before.
"Our new home Darling." And then I froze.
Loki wants me stay with him?
