Your chest heaved as it refilled the air you had lost as you shouted. You never meant to reveal anything. It just slipped out as your patience broke. Your heart clenched with emotions you'd forced back day after day. All this because you couldn't bring yourself to accept that a single devil wasn't evil. You withheld your tears; you weren't going to show anymore weakness in front of idiots like these. Years of a defensive wall you had built brick by brick was crumbling because one thing didn't hold.

Nacht couldn't move. He'd never seen this side of you. You were broken. You'd broken down right in front of him and he couldn't help you in anyway. He could see it now, as clear as day. And after all this time he hadn't been able to help you. He'd failed you. "(Y/N)..." Nacht reached his hand out, centimeters from touching your shoulder. "You, are no better, Nacht Faust." you jerked your shoulders back, avoiding his touch. Nacht looked at you with a saddened and confused expression. He retracted his hand to his chest. He didn't want to hurt you anymore. You were fragile, even if you denied it, even if you faked it.

No matter the pain he felt, he couldn't let you blame the incident caused by Lucifugus on innocent beings. "Please. (Y/N). You can't blame his death on Liebe. Nor on Gimodelo, Plumede, Walgner, or Slotos. They didn't do it. In fact, they have never done anything wrong. Please. Understand it isn't his fault-" Nacht's voice was pleading. A shadow cast over your face, "you're right." Nacht let out a gasp of surprise; he hadn't expected you to agree with him. "You're right. They're the same revolting species as him, but I can't blame them for killing him."

Your head tilted up and you starred at Nacht with eyes (E/C) that shouted 'murder.' "It's you! All your fault! You are the reason he's dead! You might as well have killed him yourself!" You shouted at him. Nacht broke to pieces. Hearing you say that to him; about him. How could you say that to him? After everything that happened, how could you say that to him? You pointed an accusing finger at him, "and you want to know the worst part? It's that you don't even care that he's gone! You just move on like nothing ever happened! Like Morgen didn't die because of you or your foolish actions and choices! You moved on like he was never alive in the first place!" Nacht was taken back; that wasn't true- that wasn't the reality.

"It should have been you that died that night, not brother! He should be standing he right now, not you! You should be six feet under not Morgen!" Old thoughts resurfaced in Nacht's mind. He had wished that it was him who died that night, so Morgen was alive, so you'd still have Morgen. He wish he had died at Lucifugus' hands, not Morgen. He has hated himself every day since that night, and yet, your words of hatred burned at him, tearing his soul to pieces. Nacht's heart shattered at the end of every sentence that escaped you. "(Y/N), that's too far." Yami tried to stop you. "Shut up, Yami! You have nothing to do with this!" You snapped, you aura growing violent.

"All of this happened because you were selfish! You couldn't just listen to Morgen when he warned you what would happen! He had been covering for you for months! But no! You didn't care, you didn't listen! All because it wasn't fun for you to be a righteous person! Now big brother is dead because of you, you fucking bastard! I hate you!" You took a threatening step towards Nacht, making his take a step back. Nacht couldn't speak, words catching in his throat. Nothing but strangled gasps escaped his shaking lips. "(Y/N), you're taking this too far. Remember that Nacht is still your family too." Yami pleaded with you, trying to stop you for going to far. In truth, he'd never seen you like this, and it was frightening him.

You were off in your own world now- unreachable. Years of bottling up your emotions, refusing to talk about your trauma, every unresolved feeling, it was all breaking you down right now, with no filter to stop you. "You can't just to crying to the world and hope that the Gods will listen. Gods, Devils, they don't care! No one cares! No matter who you fight, who you pray to, no one will help you! Do you understand, Nacht?! He... He is the only one who would ever listen, whoever cared! And it's all your fault he's gone now!" Short deep hiccups began to fall from your throat beside the gaspy breaths. "You... took everything from me! And I will never forgive you for that!" You couldn't do this anymore. Without another word or glance, you left out the doors, leaving everyone in shock.
