I was sitting at my small desk area trying my hardest to complete my science homework as I was on a call with Sydney.

"No matter how many times Mrs. Nelson reviews in class, I'm never going to understand it!" I yelled out of frustration, slumping further into my pink chair.

"C'mon it's not that hard, all you have to do is know that there are ten different types of consiliences and name them all." Sydney tried to reason, but I just gave up.

"The test isn't until next Friday, I'll just go in for lunch and ask my questions." I sighed, upset that I couldn't understand.

"Okay well in that case," Sydney began to speak as I heard a tapping sound from my window, which took the entirety of my attention. "Millie, Millie?" Sydney said, waving her hands in the camera as I kept my focus to the window.

"I'll talk to you tomorrow Sydney, bye!" I said quickly as she told me goodnight and hung up.

I got up from my seat at my desk and wondered towards my nightstand for a pair of scissors to potentially protect myself, but before I could reach them, I heard a familiar voice.

"Shit!" The person said as I ran to my window knowing who it was.

"Walker! Please let me come in, I've been tapping on your window for like three minutes!" Cassie complained as she was standing on the slanted roof of my second story.

"How the hell did you get up here?" I asked, helping her inside from the cold air outside.

"I kinda just like, climbed. It's not even that high, just like 12 or so feet." She shrugged, turning around and closing my window as I sat on the edge of my bed.

"Is there something in particular you needed because it's literally 11 pm." I said as she came to sit next to me and swing her legs back and forth like Wyatt. She simply it brushed off, smiling like a child.

"Well, you should be in bed." I insisted, crossing my legs on the bed.

"Yeah, I know, that's why I'm here." She said, gesturing to her nighttime attire and flopping into my bed, getting underneath the covers.

"This is all a set-up, isn't it?" I laughed as she patted the spot next to her.

"Maybe..." She replied as I crawled over to her side of the bed and giving her a quick kiss. I laid down next to her and turned the opposite direction as she moved her arms around my waist.

"I have to leave before school, I have to take Avery today." She hummed.

"Okay." I sighed, "Night C." I said before falling asleep almost immediately afterwards.

"Shit." I said under my breath as I checked the time. The sun peeking through my blinds signaling I had overslept. I sighed and turned around to see Cassie's absence but a small notecard that read: I'll see you in a bit, love you <3. I smiled at the note then decided it was time to get ready for the day.

I immediately found my way out of bed and got dressed in some warmer clothes as it was getting colder. I washed my face and brushed my teeth before running into Wyatt's room to get him ready.
