"Why can't I do it on Friday? This isn't what I signed up for, this wasn't part of the deal." I whisper-yelled in protest to Aunt Laura's new "assignment".

"This is exactly what you signed up for, and you are going. End of story. Nate is picking you up early in the morning, you need to rest." She said bluntly, tossing the file to me and walking to her room.

I calmed down and began going to my room, when I passed Avery's.

"Cassie," Avery whined, reaching for me through the doorway.

"Avery, you need to be asleep. What are you doing awake? Aunt Laura's gonna be pissed if she finds you awake."

"Maybe if you guys didn't fight so much, I would be asleep right now." She acknowledged, rubbing her eyes and stretching her legs underneath the blanket.

"I'm sorry we kept you up, but seriously, Laura's already on edge, so you need to fall asleep before she bans you from your beanie boo collection again." 

"Oh no." She replied, wrapping her blankets around herself tighter.

"That's right. Night pumpkin, love you." I smiled, walking the rest of the way to my room and sitting in my chair, sitting the file down.

So, I'm a florist, trying to get a guy named... Desmond Parker. "What a timeless name," I thought sarcastically. 

"I'll wait until he comes in asking for "Lily of the Valley" flowers, which is the lethal flower that is known to be quite the killer. His initial plan was to get the flower to poison his wife. I'm supposed to get him to the back of the store and take care of him until Nate gets there and takes him."

Not too difficult this time.

I flipped the file closed and shoved it into my dresser and got dressed into my pajamas before quickly jumping into my bed and checking the group messages.
