"He wants to see me?" Millie frowned, sitting in the passenger seat of the car as we sat in our driveway.

"Yeah, Aunt Laura asked me to tell you a few days ago."

"A few days ago? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She asked, looking slightly upset with me.

"You were just really happy the past few days and I didn't think to mention it-"

"You didn't think to mention it? That's bullshit." She huffed, opening her passenger door and getting out as I followed her to the door.

"I'm sorry! I just knew you'd get like this and I didn't want to make you upset." I attempted to explain as she unlocked to house with her key, walking into the kitchen, Finn swarming at her feet.

"I don't want to be upset with you, so I'm going to drop it, but in the future you need to tell me things like this Cassie." She sighed, pre-hearting the oven for dinner tonight.

"Okay, I'm sorry Millie, I will. " I assured, helping her set up a few things to put in the oven.

After about thirty minutes of cooking and finally putting the stuff in the oven, Millie and I were both at the sink, washing our hands.

Millie looked up at me and flicked water in my face, thinking she was super funny.

"Hey! What was that for?" I yelled, flicking some back on her, the two of us errupting into laughter.

"Look at what you did! You just got water all over my new shirt!" She said, gesturing to the water mark on her shirt.

"You started this Walker, don't pin the blame on me!" I exclaimed, Millie playfully pushing me as she pouted at her shirt.

"I guess I just have to change it, maybe you can come with me?" Millie smirked, locking eyes with me, then running upstairs.

"Hey if you can make jokes like that, why can't I?" I laughed, chasing her before we reached my room.

"You're a loser!" She yelled, jumping onto our bed, Finn running in after us and jumping on the bed near Millie.

"I am not! Finn doesn't think so! Don't you Finn?" I asked Finn, who barked as a response.

"That means he thinks you're a loser and his mama is his favorite." Millie shrugged, jumping into Millie's lap.

"No, his mom is one-hundred percent his favorite." I argued as Millie rolled her eyes and got up from the bed, setting Finn down and getting close enough to whisper in my ear.

"Can't argue with the facts, babe."

"Millie what did I say about calling me that!"

"Um, nothing I can recall." She said jokingly, rummaging through our closet.

"Looking for a shirt?" I asked, sitting on the bed next to Finn.

"Yeah, now turn around so I can change."
